    The Tele bass came in three neck profiles: 'usual' lovely Precision, kinda roundy but OK if you like them and unplayable baseball bat.

    Love the amps and would contemplate it. But have SOOOOO many cabs, I can't justify the whole rig.

    Don't worry about the 6ohms rating. It is an 8ohm cab. WEM put 6ohms and 12ohms on thier speaker labels so that folk would htink they ahd to buy WEM replacement drivers, or link them only to WEM amps. Good ol' Charlie Watkins....

    I have had 100, 120 and 150 versions. 1x10, 1x12 and 1x15. And a 1x12 extension. The 1x12 150w with extension is still doing weekly gigs for an upright player in Glasgow. The 1x10 is one of the best upright amps of all time. The EV drivers in any version are worth £100-150. The amp sections are beautifully built with craftsmanship far beyond the slap together ethic of Aquilar, Genz, SWR, Eden... They have a healthy power stage and well made transformers, so have authority and poke. Brilliant studio amp. What's the head worth? Nearest rival is probably a Mark V Trace AH150. They pull £150-200 depending on condition. Only Peterson thing I have now is a black tolex 1x15 combo cab that I loaded with a Celestion 500w neo and run with an SVT 3 Pro head on the shelf. Gig? Pull the head and away we go to big cab land. Yeah!

    A MkV AH150 is tiny - 6kg tops Side handle, half depth. The power supply is the same as the AH300 , hence the poke.

    I have an '06 'ray 4 H this colour. The photo flash 'lightens' the blue. The reality is much more laid back - quite black in dull light. The last couple of shots are closer to the 'natural' look than the first couple. Classy.

    And the biggest question of all... Peterson used the same box for the 1x10, 1x12 and 1x15 format. What size speaker? The 1x10 is an AMAZING upright combo. The 100w is for 4ohm out. Native driver is 8ohm, so not full 100w output. He brought out the 150 to give some more oomph. I love 'em. Simple design well made. Sound great. Had loads....
