    I sold @James79 a bass recently - James is new to buying here but everything went smoothly, and its clear to see he’s a pleasure to deal with and a good guy.

    These are the previous version, used lightly for one week on a Jazz Bass. This version has darker blue silks, and are more akin to Chromes (but a little different). Nice strings, lots of punch and clarity for a flat. 45 65 80 100 Price includes post.

    I hadn’t before, but just tried my P Bass and get what you might be feeling. I like the strings, but the gauges are bonkers - works for me though on some basses.

    Absolutely, and the superlight A string and light D add to the mix of that I reckon. edit - doh, just seen that mentioned in later posts 😂

    Yeah I found the pup and pre’s make a big difference on the Flea’s. I was lucky enough to compare the purple one to 4 other FB4’s with the same pup, pre and bridge. The purple was always my favourite, it just had a touch more punch, but 3 were amazing too, and 1 was just average.

    When you say ‘maxed’, you mean it’s straight or just won’t straighten more than you want it to be? Could be a few things though to be fair.

    I use a tall barstool as my body feels less twisted on one of those. I happen to have a Fender one, but there must be cheaper similar ones out there.

    I’ve had a Special for a couple of years now, and as much as I like the look of the new colours, there’s none there I’d like to actually own. Considering all the other colours are now discontinued, I’m glad I got mine when I did.

    Were you using a daisy chain with an exposed output that wasn’t being used? I heard years back from a pro tech that can cause issues if it touches a metal pedal casing.
