Hi Guys up for grabs we have an Ashdown Lomenzo Hyperdrive we all know what these do and how good they are this one I am selling is in really great condition and the only thing I want to mention is that the little flap for the battery compartment is missing it was like this when I got it but it can still be used with a battery (I will include a new one with the sale) can also be run from a 9v PSU (not included) If you need any pics I will try and get them on here later no box or instructions but will be properly packed and delivered by tracked courier which is included in the sale price Cheers

Hi Guys for sale Chrome Schaller strap locks good condition only selling as the bass I had these on has been sold only thing to note is that the screws that actually screw in to the bass are not the original Schaller ones but to be honest I have always mounted these with the screws that I remove from the bass anyway. £9.50 posted Cheers

There is a thread some where on here about these basses I think they are made by Gibson as a budget version of the Thunderbird

I love my Fender it is awesome but I do have to agree with Dingus that 2 grand is IMO mental money for a bass new or old but on the other hand it is like a classic car that cost £500 new 40 years ago and is now worth like 10 grand but if people want to spend that kind of money on a bass or anything else its up to them its there money and if it makes them happy then why not.

Would a cheap compressor take care of the hum? may be a ton cheaper than new pups -
Have you tried the Legacy strings from strings direct Lozz? I believe these are made by Rotosound but are about half the cost might be worth a try if you are buying new strings a lot more now

Thunderbird replied to AndreAlmeida's topic in Bass Guitars
I have ordered this, looking forward to getting it, I'll report back next week if there's any interest? http://www.thomann.d...ntage_serie.htm
I dont think you will be unhappy with it I have bought a few bits of Harley Benton stuff in the past and have always found it good value and quality and I got my son one of those silly guitars with 6 strings for Christmas and it is a great bit of kit punches well above its price for both quality and performance -
Cheers Johnny, but I've Already tried raising the bridge saddle, even to the point where is was unplayable because the string was so high, but alas, it didn't stop the click! Paul, by all means you are welcome to have a look and see if you can figure out what's wrong. Pilot error perhaps??? Grangur - http://www.thedailym...s-2014020483225 I rest my case
I very much doubt it is pilot error mate just a thought have you tried putting a small bit of foam behind the nut kind of like a mute to see if the strings are just hitting that tiny bit of board just behind the nut? I had that with a bass once but only just thought of it
