7. I have never seen a guard without the routing I would think it would be a custom job or buy a sheet of material or have a go yourself
8. Try uploading your pics to tinypic or photobucket then you can copy the web textlink here and it will display the pictures for you
9. +1 I had a Tonerider in my P bass and I liked it much better than the quarter pounders I had in it I think the best way I can described is like a quarter pounder but without as much dirt very under rated pups good luck with the sale

12. If the pin pings in and out of the tuner could you not put a bit of lipstick on the latch pop it in the hole then it will leave a mark then you can drill in the correct place?
13. If you have a DVD player that should play audio CD's so if you used that and stuck a decent speaker system on the TV that should work and many TV's and DVD players have built in USB ports so you can put songs etc on a memory stick and play the through the TV I do this but only have the TV speakers

16.
Particularly for me (selfish yes) as I posted my cheque late last night and he will get it tomorrow.
Maybe not as you ordered before he made the decision to not put Fender decals on so by rights yours should come with a Fender decal might be worth banging an email his way?
17.
I sent him a link to the thread because I thought he may appreciate the heads-up. He was already well aware that he may have to stop using the F decal if the profile of his work was raised to a certain level, and in his opinion that level has been reached.
It has maybe done him a favour as now a "new" Limelight brand has be born so to speak and there seems to be plenty of people wanting a Limelight bass so why not brand it a limelight good luck to the geezer I say
18. I don't know the Bassdoc but I hope he gets well soon
19. So was it the comments on the other thread that made the Limelight guy stop putting Fender decals on?
20.
The Limelight PG is much better in reality than in the pics in the OP. I'm still going to get a Spitfire guard though, because I think it will be the icing on the cake as far as this Jazz is concerned. Having see the website and what's on offer I just had to do it. http://spitfiretorto....wordpress.com/ His relic work is exemplary and his guards are indistinguishable from the genuine articles, imho.
I never thought I would see the day Mark you liking tort I just don't believe it lol
21. I don't know about all the copyright issues, all I know is I think all relic basses look crap IMHO so I don't buy one and some people think they are great and buy one it is all up to the individual no one has the right to tell anyone else what or what not to get I love Fenders but I do think Fender are really taking the piss on the price of some of there basses and as such are losing sales as people just go for a relic or make a bitsa I honestly think if a real Fender was a better price they would sell more and there would not be a lot of point in copy basses granted there will still be copies around though
22. Robert bought a pedal from me and paid when he said he would his communication was great and he let me know the pedal had got to him safely all in all a very good transaction
23. I wonder who the veteran bass player who valued it is? but in all fairness it is good for a home build is it worth a grand?....no way I would say about 250 tops
