the zoot cabs looked good and performed well enough.....but what the....happened to purple chilli!! not a nice looking cab at all.....well...imho.

how about markbass 121 lite (alain caron model) 500watts into the 12.....100 into tweeter!!! steve lawson uses a pair!......£899 at soundslive...ncle can't add cab tho.

had mine for about a year.....wasn't my thing in the end.....pillowy is a good word for it....not dynamic enough and 900 watts yeah right.......peak maybe ! (just my opinion.....lots of people love them)

just for information.....i've had this driver from new....it is an all purpose speaker and was loaded in ev 606 design box and always sounded good....(not too much bottom end,but punchy).....i surpose in sound it had elements of a 12......cab was mdf and too heavy....will probably go for compact bag end design....easy build(got all hardware) with reference to the size of voice-coil....i believe it is 2.5 inches. never heard speaker farting on bottom end....and its had some punishment over the years!! well there you are me dears.....i'm off to buy some 5mm plywood ,grill cloth and some six inch nails!

well marcus......bought one of those bog seat basses new in 79........nobody wanted them but glad i did!!! still have it now

cheers folks......yes marshall did fit the sidewinder 15 in some of there cabs.....this driver was celestions answer to ev .....12s and 15s......edge wound voice coil and high sensitivity 101-102db...... regards......mark

i have a good celestion sidewinder 15 inch driver and would like to put it into a cab and i was wondering if there are any cab builders or good diy-ers would be up for it? cheers me dears. ps.....had no luck finding compact empty cab!!

yes my fiends(sorry friends) great cabs.....the eminence 3012ho is a monster of a driver......i have bought two....going to put them in my berg ht.....ex cabs ......lighter weight and a little louder...and hopefully a better sound .

friend of mine has got the pf 500.......broke down mid gig(sounded good up till then) heard of other reliability issues........pity,i liked the look of svt 7. been out a while now so gremlins may have been ironed out!!

Bernard Edwards.....that man had funky running through his veins big influence on me.....he and nile wrote some great stuff...... and i never tire of listening to it.

defo the dogs nads.....great build....clever design and you can't go wrong with kappalite 3012ho......should imagine cab has great throw to the sound. should be proud and rightly so

well back in the day when petrol was cheap, back was ache free and the birds sang more .....a certain Bernard Edwards and Norman Watt-Roy did it for me slick funky lines meets.....get the .......job done Norman still churning it out loads of great players passed and present.

M D guitars would make you a body with nitro finish......was talking to them at NE guitar show a few weeks ago about a possible build......they are in yorkshire i think. mark
