a great amp...may only be 300 watts BUT all watts are not created equal....loud,flexible and dual compressor good use low band around 10-11 o'clock and high on 8-9.....wont squash top end. this amp is as loud as many 5-600 watt digital amps.....well the ones i've played !! make of this what you will......toodles

perhaps not the best ever but dr bass 2460 three way cab is a tone monster....not the deepest bass but sooo nice my pair of berg 12s are nice but can't quite match 2460....just a shame it weighes 65lbs....still,not as bad as some 410s.....90lbs i suppose its alot like EAD foundation 212.....doesn't look as posh tho.

well,i have to agree MoJoKe....i like 15s,and with the latest technology you get good mids along with a nice fat bottom.....Oooo matron...i think the compact enclosure sounds better to my lugs... plus..the 500w markbass amp is a cracker......very nice potent rig.

some of the eminence 10 inch speakers very good.....and good value(try blue aran) bergantino fit them in their HD 210 .......pressed steel frame but non the worse for it.

re....redsub....harley benton..... i read about reliability issues but at £230 from thomann took a punt on harley benton.... canny little amp 500watts,detachable head.....quite pokey....and VERY compact not the best build quality tho...will let you know if it stays reliable!!! ps....saw pics on net of hb and ibanez prometheon(inside amp)...looks identical(components etc)

the zoot cabs looked good and performed well enough.....but what the....happened to purple chilli!! not a nice looking cab at all.....well...imho.

how about markbass 121 lite (alain caron model) 500watts into the 12.....100 into tweeter!!! steve lawson uses a pair!......£899 at soundslive...ncle can't add cab tho.

had mine for about a year.....wasn't my thing in the end.....pillowy is a good word for it....not dynamic enough and 900 watts yeah right.......peak maybe ! (just my opinion.....lots of people love them)

just for information.....i've had this driver from new....it is an all purpose speaker and was loaded in ev 606 design box and always sounded good....(not too much bottom end,but punchy).....i surpose in sound it had elements of a 12......cab was mdf and too heavy....will probably go for compact bag end design....easy build(got all hardware) with reference to the size of voice-coil....i believe it is 2.5 inches. never heard speaker farting on bottom end....and its had some punishment over the years!! well there you are me dears.....i'm off to buy some 5mm plywood ,grill cloth and some six inch nails!

well marcus......bought one of those bog seat basses new in 79........nobody wanted them but glad i did!!! still have it now

cheers folks......yes marshall did fit the sidewinder 15 in some of there cabs.....this driver was celestions answer to ev .....12s and 15s......edge wound voice coil and high sensitivity 101-102db...... regards......mark

i have a good celestion sidewinder 15 inch driver and would like to put it into a cab and i was wondering if there are any cab builders or good diy-ers would be up for it? cheers me dears. ps.....had no luck finding compact empty cab!!

yes my fiends(sorry friends) great cabs.....the eminence 3012ho is a monster of a driver......i have bought two....going to put them in my berg ht.....ex cabs ......lighter weight and a little louder...and hopefully a better sound .

friend of mine has got the pf 500.......broke down mid gig(sounded good up till then) heard of other reliability issues........pity,i liked the look of svt 7. been out a while now so gremlins may have been ironed out!!
