  1. You could also consider a 'Backbeat' which fits onto your strap. Both the platform and backbeat are fantastic and really addictive!

    Poorly Mutron III

Hi mowf, Soundgas service Mutrons, although I think they prioritise gear they've previously sold/serviced. Maybe worth a try...
  3. Thanks! I’ve given it a try at 18v and there’s no ‘pop’ and it sounds great 👍🏼
  4. Thanks, this was my thinking - no harm in trying it i guess. The pedal it's powering takes two 9v batteries but via the power input it indicates 25v max DC, and I trie dit at 12v yesterday which sounded the same as usual - though I did notice a slight popping when engaging or disengaging the pedal which you don't get with batteries - I wondered if it's because I'm supplying it with an odd voltage (hence wanting to try 18v)
  5. Quick question. Is it ok to use a Truetone voltage doubler with a Cioks power supply? I need one of the 9v outputs doubling to 18v and the one that does that natively is taken.
  6. Brand new condition, boxed with power supply and USB cable. Now redundant due to some band setup changes. Any questions please ask!
  7. Let us know your whereabouts and there may be a member nearby who could help
  8. Thy look pretty high even at the headstock end of the neck so maybe the nut isn’t cut low enough or the strings aren’t sitting in it properly. Or do they get further away as you go up the neck and the first few frets feel ok?
  9. You could use EBS flat cables, and a junction box for your bass in/amp out. Nic bit of kit, that Bassics
  10. That sounds most likely - I was going to suggest it was some sort of autocomplete but it sounds like you don't recognise the recipient.
  11. Are the bank details that the seller gave you showing as correct (I.e what he wrote) in the PM?
  12. Not really but I think it’s a great idea. When I started playing it was in the period where we transitioned from proper cameras to digital, and that combined with a regimented backup system and multiple life changes meant that many of the pictures taken have disappeared, but those that remain could be sorted into an album of their own so maybe that’s a job for a rainy day.
  13. Presumably if the bridge is fanned too then straight pickups would be the most even choice? I agree that a test body with moveable pickups is the best idea.
  14. Yeah partly, though the body shape is more rounded on the newer ones too. Either way it's plain wrong! 😄
  15. My advice would be to just to get on using the forum for the time being rather than talking about where it should be. I personally don’t think it’s going to be very popular anyway but happy to be proven wrong! Not sure what the problem is with where it is not until it warrants a whole main forum.
  16. Maybe it would fit sideways with the input cable fitting in a gap between your boss pedals? You could put it before the chorus so the output from the cabin is ‘on top’ again
  17. Those boards are so neat - great idea. Really satisfying board, that! Maybe the HPF would fit under the board?
  18. Does anyone know if the feet on a Warwick Rockboard are held on using M4 bolts? I think they are but wanted to check as I might put some slightly taller feet on. They certainly look like M4 but they all look like one another after a while.
  19. Ha! As if! You just need a USB-C to 3.5mm jack converter like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/google-pixel-6-headphone-adapter/s?k=google+pixel+6+headphone+adapter
  20. What phone do you have, you should be able to use a dongle or maybe a Bluetooth DAC so you can still use them for music
  21. I brought a broughton! From our very own @JohnR no less
  22. You can bookmark any customised page you like as your default. I made a custom stream to show latest threads as I like to scan across the forum and rarely use the main index unless I’m looking for something specific. I say with this new forum just wait and see how it develops. If we end up with people getting lost then we can move it, not that I’m the one who’s deciding. I do still feel that pinned threads are a waste of time and counterproductive. Popular threads will stay near the top if they’re popular. Participants will be able to find them if they’re following. And pinning things is a good way to make them invisible, as usually the pinned stuff is rules and other T&Cs which again I’d argue don’t need pinning - there are better options such as announcements, forum sub pages and so forth nowadays.
