Hi mate, The 15 pairs really well with the 2x10 but I haven't tried it on its own. I believe it's a pretty good speaker (Eminence Opus or something). The u500 is great, I really like it - it's not that light but OK to carry like a big box rather than with the top handle (which is OK for manoeuvring it about to an extent). I have tried the various voicing and response curves but found that for my tastes they all sound a bit too much - however on the linear/flat setting it sounds very natural. Perhaps it's very slightly boxy sounding but I have yet to play with the sweepable mids to dial in what I want - it's always been great in a mix on the night. The DI is great too, it's pre or post EQ with the option for emulation (like a fixed IR). I have just bought an Eich 112pro though because my Blackstar stack is either too big for some venues or slightly redundant at bigger ones with decent PA. You're welcome to try it if you like Cheers

Blackstar do a 250ACT (powered 15" speaker) which is an active extension for the U500 combo (I have both). I'm not 100% sure but I guess you could have a couple of those and use them with your pedalboard as a pre?

Thanks! Just wanted to be sure

Yeah maybe. Can you link me to the one you mean?

Just tried the Joyo. I’m getting some crackle, feels like clipping, when digging in. Will investigate more but likely it’ll go back. The button to turn on/pair is a bit cheap feeling compared to the Boss ‘on when plugged in’ system.

Orba 3 is being released soon! It has a built in sampler which will be really useful, it was a faff before when you had to use the phone to make a sample https://artiphon.com

Rewiring a Fender Player Mustang bass?
ped replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in Repairs and Technical
I wired mine balance and tone, as I never use a volume control on a bass. -
That’s the one. https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Gator-ICON-Series-Bag-For-Electric-Guitars-Black/5DL2?utm_campaign=surfaces_across_google&srsltid=AfmBOopoEdajiUxZtPS1y_GB_-sgCdbtrd3QfFfoZhMl0F1FvP_T6zlFCQM It has a useful assortment of handles, particularly the horizontal one above the accessory pocket) and decent straps. Pretty sure it has a rain cover too.

Same. Great video. I think mine appears once or twice? Definitely a 'well kept secret' in comparison to other top end brands.

No probs, here’s a pic of the Gator if it helps. I went to Gear4music and tried it in person, they were very helpful

Fender FBSS610 is a great light weight gig bag if you’re wearing it or basically putting it in the car. Really dense and fairly thick padding, but light and thin construction. For more protection I love the Gator Icon (guitar) case. I posted about it here somewhere. Fits my Mustang perfectly with plenty of space around the tuners, unlike some other guitar bags.

Yeah, sometimes that helps if I do it a few times.

Yeah I wouldn’t have minded being able to angle the receiver but I can work around it. I got mine for £50 🤩

I’ve got a Boss WL20 which sounds good and battery life is fine but for some reason (probably the band?) it cuts out a fair bit in our practice studio. I have just bought a 5.8ghz Joyo system that @Happy Jack linked to. Got a ‘used like new’ on Amazon and used some gift voucher balance. Will be interesting to try it. The Boss didn't introduce any noise but it did change the treble sound of my bass slightly when I really listen - obviously fine for gigs though. As I use a Backbeat then the transmitter sits in the unit on my strap, out of the way. The receiver will stick out of my pedalboard a bit but I might get a right angle cable to move it away from the edge of the board where I’m paranoid that someone will step on it!

https://warmaudio.com/pedal76 Has anyone seen this yet? WA gear seems pretty good to me (previously had the phaser, have the passive DI) I am not in the market for a comp since I love my Spectracomp but thought this may be of interest to those of a Cali76 persuasion. Cheers

Hi there, I think there was some confusion as the OP posted the same ad three times, so the intention was probably to hide two of them, but maybe different mods hid different threads at the same time! In any case I have restored the one with replies, which is here https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/503031-mark-ramsey-design-neutrino/ Cheers

If you want a more P bass sound then the Degenerate is a good choice, as one coil is hotter than the other. It sounds a lot like the P bass mode on the G&L L2000. You can also tap the pickup so it sounds like a single coil.

The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!
ped replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
I had an Atelier-Z jazz bass, it was fantastic - chambered body, super build quality and attention to detail. I really liked the preamp too, which I think is the same as in this mini bass. -

I 'watched' it and received an offer to buy for £800, FYI (I can't afford it hence posting here) -

This Atelier-Z looks nice https://reverb.com/uk/item/85202792-atelier-z-babyz-4pj-2020-white-short-scale-bass-made-in-japan -
For me, Impulse Response loaders. I tried one, everything sounded pretty bad, realised that the DI on my amp is already with a speaker sim, which sounds far more natural and less heavy handed than the IRs.

I've got the Gemini Degenerate in my Mustang (and the Surfrider in the bridge). There are some sound clips/videos here. In most of these I'm not digging in a lot but trust me this thing has massive output and a very weighty but detailed palette. Super pleased with it.

Even longitudinally we can't argue that the UK is lower than the 48 states

Saw that - located in London but description mentions shipping to the lower 48 states only... alarm bells?
