What's your budget? I recently went from a big stack to a single Eich BC112pro combo. It's amazing; really light, small, tilts back so you can hear it perfectly and if it even has a fan I've never heard it.

Those are great - but I think auto wah and foot operated wah are very different effects

Lovetone Meatball. So much so that I bought 3! (Ok, two were broken and sent back) After a long time with Mutron (Haz and Musitronics versions) the Lovetone matched them all and then some, with more control, better bypass, less noise, etc. Definitely a keeper - I haven’t changed my board for nearly a year now!

Will BC ever work properly on iPhones?
ped replied to dave_bass5's question in Site Issues and Questions
Actually more people use BC via a mobile than they do desktop. It’s been the case for a while now. We don’t make the software, but it’s clear that mobile formatting has been a priority for a while now. I’m not sure what your issue is exactly but we don’t typically hear about any problems as you describe. If you hold the space bar you can move your cursor and land it where you like, maybe that helps? -
It’s more Ken Smith BT shape. I really like the shape and found it very comfortable. I prefer it to the BSR shape anyway.
-
Ken doesn’t make them himself anyway so whether they’re ’in house’ or ‘in someone else’s house’ is kind of immaterial. It’s more likely that Brubaker found him hard to work with and now Ken is making it sound like they were the problem and trying to sell the new ‘in house’ basses. Over the years various parts of the production have been outsourced anyway.

Welcome! We’re going to need some pictures! I’m assuming the bass is fretted (I think I’ve seen it in the book) in which case it is indeed phelonic. You can clean it with WD40!

Fidelity Guitars Stellarosa Bass *NO MORE ON SALE*

I prefer rounds on mine (Elixir 45-105 steel). They last about a year with light gigging (we probably do about 12 gigs a year). I put some new ones on this morning and for the first time ever, my tuners are all lined up. It’ll probably change as they settle in but I thought it was pic worthy 🤘

I wonder if any of this will be useful in my parole hearing -
Also up for a Yorkshire bash!

Bass-backbeat-pedalboard-VB99(usb interface)-Mac-GK200-Bassboard with Beyer DT770s from the VB99. This way I get haptic feedback from the backbeat and, if I want it, the bassboard which gives a really ‘live’ feel, and of course perfect sound from the cans. I play this way 90% of the time; I never use an amp at home.

The Short Scale Bass Appreciation Society!
ped replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
I must say, I prefer short scale basses that have their own shape, as opposed to a scaled down body from another bass. That way they feel like an instrument in their own right instead of a mini version of something else. -

It'll probably end up being like the cookie policy where we were told unless you had a banner about cookies you'd be thrown in jail -
Looks like the warning was sent before the system here was upgraded - I don’t think the previous warning ‘reasons’ were transferred over.

This is why I tend to like pedals with a battery option. Often I just want to take one pedal, or add a different pedal before my pedalboard now and again - batteries make this really easy and most will last a very long time. If you get a 9V battery tester you can see how many hours remain so it's fairly safe, and spares are easy to carry.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who have supported the site this year—whether by becoming a Supporting Member or purchasing tokens for the marketplace. Your contributions enable us to keep improving the site, reduce our reliance on advertising, and dedicate time to supporting our community. I mention this now because December typically sees a noticeable drop in revenue, and with the challenges many individuals and businesses are facing right now, I’m especially grateful to those of you who continue to renew your subscriptions. Of course, I also deeply appreciate everyone who visits the site, shares their knowledge, and offers support to others. A site like BC is only as valuable as the knowledge contained within the membership. So, thank you once again. I’ll be taking a bit of a BC break over Christmas and New Year, so I want to wish you all a relaxing, joyful time with your friends, family, and instruments 🎸. Cheers, Ped

This. @Bass4real I’m glad you’ve got that off your chest but you might like to consider that we have rules too.
