  1. Does anyone know if the feet on a Warwick Rockboard are held on using M4 bolts? I think they are but wanted to check as I might put some slightly taller feet on. They certainly look like M4 but they all look like one another after a while.
  2. Ha! As if! You just need a USB-C to 3.5mm jack converter like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/google-pixel-6-headphone-adapter/s?k=google+pixel+6+headphone+adapter
  3. What phone do you have, you should be able to use a dongle or maybe a Bluetooth DAC so you can still use them for music
  4. I brought a broughton! From our very own @JohnR no less
  5. You can bookmark any customised page you like as your default. I made a custom stream to show latest threads as I like to scan across the forum and rarely use the main index unless I’m looking for something specific. I say with this new forum just wait and see how it develops. If we end up with people getting lost then we can move it, not that I’m the one who’s deciding. I do still feel that pinned threads are a waste of time and counterproductive. Popular threads will stay near the top if they’re popular. Participants will be able to find them if they’re following. And pinning things is a good way to make them invisible, as usually the pinned stuff is rules and other T&Cs which again I’d argue don’t need pinning - there are better options such as announcements, forum sub pages and so forth nowadays.
  6. I’ll hand myself in I promise! I’ve added the HPF after the thru out on the DI and after my comp so signal does this: Bass-loop(mutron)-fuzz-Bassballs-comp-HPF-out or Bass-loop(mutron)-fuzz-Bassballs-comp-DI Out Or I can actually bypass all of it by going out from the fuzz tuner out as both Valco pedals are true bypass. May be useful in emergencies. Initial testing seems to help tame the bass going into my BassBoard platform. I’ve managed to position it so I can adjust the filter from the top of my board through a small hole which is handily lit up by the LED on the device. It’s running at 18v from my Cioks although most of the time I’m using a passive bass. Thanks for the help
  7. It sounds from other threads about the dreaded C word that we have similar tastes regarding comp/limiting so that's reassuring.
  8. Actually my DI has a 1/4” through so I could put the HPF there to adjust for my own monitor and the XLR from the di can be full range to desk. Might go for that!
  9. Thanks chaps. The fact is that I probably don’t need one at all as I’m 100% happy with my sound, settings and setup but as I start playing live more I think it might be a useful thing to help with stages, PA and using other amplifiers so perhaps after my comp and before DI is the way to go so nothing changes except the feed out of my board. I may not use it much but along with a good DI I thought it sensible to have as an option under the board.. and you know, gadgets and all.
  10. This was my thinking too. However what if I use my comp as a limiter and quite enjoy the sound of bashing the occasional note into the limiter. I guess after the limiter in that case, so that my sound isn’t changed by the HPF so that I’d have to adjust my limiter for the presumably lower range on the input?
  11. I was thinking about that (having it before any pedals) but then I realised that the Mutron really responds well to bigger sounding basses and I worry that filtering out before that might affect the range of the filter, which, as it stands, is right in the centre of it's useful curve, giving me lots of options. If I filter before that I'd have to up the gain (which can add distortion) or sacrifice some of the range.
  12. Any advice on where to use an HPF, I currently have a chain which goes bass-pedals-comp-DI-output Would it make sense to have it after the DI, before the comp or in between the comp and DI? Or right at the start?! I know, it'll be best to experiment but is there a general consensus?
  13. Thanks @Reggaebass @taunton-hobbit if you go here you should be able to delete them. https://www.basschat.co.uk/attachments/
  14. Have a look at these too if you haven’t already https://myvolts.co.uk/page.php?xPage=MV_Ripcord
  15. I’ve nearly finished - I’ve just added a fantastic Warm Audio passive DI under the board. It was reduced at Gear4music but then I found it for £70 ish at scan.co.uk which is a really good deal.
  16. Hi mate sorry I didn't get a PM from you (my messenger is disabled, actually). Glad you found it though!
  17. Hi Stub, I'm afraid I'm not involved in this work at all, so I don't know, sorry. Having trialled third party ad servers before I know that they often flood the site with incorrect elements which they promised they wouldn't when they 'turn it on' and as a result I should think over the next few days normal service will resume with some clarity over cookies etc.
  18. Mines in Italian too! I’m not involved in this work so I can’t help with it I’m afraid. Personally I think third party ads are a waste of time.
  19. I don’t think his pedals are ‘all that’ anyway especially for the prices.
  20. I’m alright thanks 😆
  21. The Police don’t solve any crime, so it’s probably quite hard to get caught - and if you do, you can just try again when you’re released with less punishment than if you dare to drive your taxed and insured vehicle you’ve bought with taxed income, and filled with taxed fuel, past a ‘safety’ camera on a road you’re taxed for - a road which has been 30mph since you were born which is now 20mph based on nothing. Good eh!
  22. Yeah, mine's like the first one you posted. I think some super early ones had a more pronounced corner near the C in the name on the headstock. I wonder if the one at the gallery is the newest shape? I don't think I've seen that shape before. I Still don't know when mine was made because I haven't taken the neck off... still, least I know it's worth 5 grand now!!
