Which companies are dead to you?
Harlequin74 replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in General Discussion
Woolworths. i mean where is boy - who isnt supposed to eat sugar - supposed to get his pick n mix? They let me down badly there, and my grandson willnever have the pleasure of a bon bon or peanut shaped sweet, or those pineapple cubes that made your mouth hurt. Shame. on a serious note, EDF Energy = avoid. Mucho love for Octopus though….. can we include the Conservative party? May as well be a company…….. -

I had the same answer - not their fault - just waiting for stock. So went for a nice NG2 , but with pickups in the combustion position will treat myself to a DRoc soon.

Looks a very cool bass. I had the SB1000, which is still an awesome bass, but cant lug that monster around anymore. Dingwalls are 8lbs of fan fretted, tonal bliss.

I think Bass Direct have sold their quota of 10 red ‘Rio’ basses. anybody on here a lucky owner, and what do you think of it? thinking of buying in black….. thanks

Hi all, selling 2 of my Markbass cabs, for £250 each. Both in excellent condition. Weight of the 210 is around 26/27 lbs and the 115 around 36lbs. both are 8 ohms. they work nicely as a combo for gigging. Happy to deliver within a reasonable distance or meet halfway, with tea and cake reward! Any questions, please let me know. Should find good feedback for me on the site. Thanks, Mike

You cant go wrong with a good P bass!

I would suggest looking at the Ibanez SR range, perhaps an SR300 nice , playable neck, wide tonal range and light. Good luck learning, i had great fun playing CARS with an 80s band recently , with the bass synthed up!

Hi all bought this very recently from Rmicki of this site, but decided its not my thing, and its up for sale for what i paid. i must stop late night shopping on BassChat. the unit works well, no crackly pots etc, and has velcro on base. Original rubber feet also present. found an old manual for this unit, so will throw that in. the price includes postage to UK Mainland. thanks, Mike
