I have noticed that my newly aquired bass tends to have a slightly quieter E string output then the rest of the strings. Does anyone know of anything that can be done to make it louder?
do you have dimensions and weight in kg? thanks
Hi. Dimensions are 84.5 cm high, 76 wide and 36 deep. Unfortunately I dont have any means of weighing the cab but I dont recall it being too heavy. Marshall website put their 4x12's between 35 to 40kg, so I assume it will be about that. Sorry I cant be any more specific. Thanks for the interest tough.
Hello! Is there definately no way you'd consider posting this?
At the moment I just want to see what interest I have in someone coming to collect it. I'm in the middle of uni exams right now so wont have the time to acquire packaging metarial and boxing it, as well as weighing and sorting out a courier. I'm sorry that that sounds a tad selfish but I just dont have the time to sort all that out right now.

I couldnt actually find out the power handling of the cab, the speakers dont seem to say anything on them about that. All I know is that my mate used to run a 100w Orange valve head through it and I now run my 500w Markbass through it and I've never had a problem with it. Surely someone is willing to take a punt on this for £70

Selling this 4x12 that I have had for a couple of years now. I originally bought it off the guitarist in my band but soon used it for the bass because it was capable of providing quite thundering bass tones if you like that aggresive mid punch. It isnt the best looking thing in the world but it does its thing really well and it so so solidly built. Barring a few scuffs which is normal with this size of cab it is an sound cosmetic condition. As I say, it is no-name so I dont know alot abou it really but I will try to answer questions as clearly as I can. No idea what its worth is so shall I say [s]£80[/s] for now and see what happens. [s]Now going for £70[/s] Further reduction to £55. Forgot to say that this item is collection only.

Personally, I'd go for a Sandberg JJ5. They are absolutely stunning sounding and built to as good a standared as I have seen in any bass. Here is mine along side my now sold PM4.

Hi guys, thanks for all the interest so far. I will be putting photo's up this evening hopefully detailing the overal condition of the guitar, as I say there are cosmetic flaws in the finish. This is obviously the reason for the price but as I said before the playing condition is sublime. The neck is perfect and the sound that comes from this guitar is as good as when it left the shop. Viewing would be ideall because I dont want people to think I have mislead them and the buyer ending up being unhappy with what they have bought. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, pictures in a couple of hours when I can find my camera. Thanks again people. -

After not playing it for quite some time I have decided that someone else may as well get some use out of it. First and foremost, this guitar is not in great cosmetic condition but plays stunningly well. There are a number of marks and scratch's present along with a rather nasty gash on the front thanks to one drunken mistake. Also, it is missing the the back tremolo cover and minus the stupid whammy/tremolo arm. It is the fetching 3 colour sunburst colour complete with mint green stratchgaurd. Dispite all these flaws, it really is a beaut to play. It would make a perfectly decent second/back up guitar for someone or, if your not bothered about the looks a really nice guitar for a starter. I will be putting this up for a bargain price. If there is any interest in the guitar then I will post pictures. I have just recieved a phone bill for £177 so would happily take that, postage extra.
