1.
I'm running 300 watts with BOTH cabs...
Oh, now I see. Thanks.
2.
SNIP....... Decided to buy a small 2x10 cab to release the full 300 watts.
On the link you put up, it says the power hadling is 200w. Would that be a problem if you are trying to 'release 300 watts'? If it is ok to do this, I might follow suit.
3. My Sandberg's have all had them. It came in handy when I decided to buy a JJ5 to load up with high C as no need to mess about with the nut. Great basses and a great idea the zero fret.
4. Just getting to the business end of the auction for my Roland Kit so thought I might share it with you guys too. All details to be found on the HERE! It doesnt have a buy it now price as such but if anyone wants to talk turkey..... we'll talk turkey
5.
I'm open to reasonable offers if anyone wants to buy my Jazz.
I'm sure someone else will mention it but new rules state you need to put a price these days.
6. Due to an admin error I have a brand new and unspoilt Roqsolid cover to fit Aggies 112 cabs, either DB or GS, It is completely brand new, and ready to be sold. I think it was about £38 new so would take £25+p&p, which is a good price considering it is new. Any interest, let me know. Everyone knows how good these covers are so protect your cab and buy this!
7. I remember seeing a cool as **** picture of Jon Entwhistle playing one of these and I have wanted one ever since then. Mind you, what bass didnt he play and manage to look cool with?!
8. I am toying with the idea of changing the stock Aggie speaker to something else soon but before I ask for people opinions about what to go for, how do I even do it?? I have never done anything like this so forgive my stupidity. Now, I assume that the speaker is loaded in through the front beneath the rather fetching cloth grill but does anybody know how to take that off/out without any damage being done. The last thing I want is to break it! I dont know if there is a suggested or recommended way to do it or if you just shove a knife in and try and lever it out, that sounds a bit dangerous to me. So anyway, if you can shed some light on the matter consider me eternally gratefull.
9. I always fancied one of these but dont have money. I thought I'd share it with y'all Gibson RD Nice looking bass.
10. No worries. I'm going to await confirmation either way from all interested parties. The only really fair way to do that is to do it in order. I didnt realise this bass would create such a stir. Healthy market for thse great basses it seems.
11. The original sale did indeed fall through so I have offered to the next person to show interest (it was a PM). Again, if it falls through then I will work in order of who showed interest untill we have a winner. Thanks for all the interst people.
12. Toontrack's EZDrummer will fit the bill I think. I used it to create my own loops in addition to the extensive catologue with the software. Check it out
13.
Yes.
Thouroughly informative answer there
14. I bought this bass off a fellow BC'er just over a week ago and as much as I love this bass, 2 rather nasty bills need seeing to so I am having to adopt a last in, first out policy. Well, what can I say about this bass other than it is an absolute beaut!! It looks, plays and sounds utterly fantastic and I will certainly miss having it. This bass in is A1, tip top condition. As far as I can see, there isnt a mark on it. It is set up beautifully and comes complete with D'Addario Flats and a gig bag. I looking for what I spent on it which was £150 + p&p. Thanks to Owain for use of his rather spiffing photos. Anyquestions, dont hesitate.
15. I wouldn't bother with a Fender. Go for a Sandberg P. Second hand they come in at about £650-£700 and are alot better than most Fenders. In fact, Legion is selling a PM4 on this very site and its an absolute beauty. Dont commit to anything untill you have at least tried a Sandberg. Thats my advice.
16.
So I walked into my local music store to buy some plectrums........... And walked out with this!!
I noticed your from Wiltshire so assume this is the one that was in Holmes Music, stop me if I'm wrong. How much did they sell it for in the end?
17. Looks lovelly! Does that mean you'll sell me your Lakland?
18. That is lovelly. I've always had a hankering for one of these, they look even beter with the chrome covers.
19. Looking good Phil. I'll have to come and have a look when you take delivery.
20.
I want these so much but if I do, Mrs. WoT will end up being the subject of a song in this thread.
Surely the Mrs enjoys a good fairy tale? They got real character and are very tastefully done.
21.
What size are they?
My apologies, I should have mentioned that in the original post. They measure 18"x13" They dont seem to do this size on the Fender website anymore, they are either postcard size or a good few inches bigger than the ones I have here.
22. Ive had these for about a year now but never really got around to putting them up so figure someone else may enjoy them. They are pristine condition, only been taken out the plastic to have a look at for 5 minutes then under the bed they went, they've been there ever since. Here is a stock picture which isn't much good but I will take photos if there is interest. I bought these for 35 bucks a pop which comes to about £20 each in today's real money, so you can have them all for half price at £40+p&p
23. I bought a Squier Fretless Jazz off Owain last week and after some superbly informative and helpfull messages it arrived today! To say that it was well packed in an understatement, you'd need a degree just to get into the box! For that, I thank you. Owain is a super person to do business with and I would not hesitate to buy or sell with this top Basschatter again. Thanks a bunch.
24. Not sure if this is the right section so please move if needs be. I was just wondering if anyone might have any idea about when are where I might be able to get my mits on one of these new Little Mark Hard Case. Thanks
