  1. Apologies, but it is a craft, not an art. Let's not sell craftsmen short here.
  2. Excuse my ignorance but the irig HD has a usb out and an amp out correct? Isn't that a splitter and audio interface in one?
  3. Yamaha trb (x) Faultless.
  4. On Spotify: Misfits Stone foxes The Wanton Bishops Dead Kennedys Municipal Waste Odd year.
  5. Drama aside, I think it's unrealistic to expect anything you order in December to arrive before Christmas. I do agree sellers need to advertise realistic shipment expectations. Thomann always takes a week and change when they advertise a three day turnover.
  6. Sm58 or SM7b. I own both and am happy to use either in rehearsal, on stage or in the studio. I sing lead and play bass in a metal band. Context is important with these kind of questions I think. Mic is always on a stand so no cupping.
  7. Only plays the ghost notes
  8. This is turning into a "great scratchplates" thread. I love it!
  9. The Dimension is the only pickguard fender got right. The standard P and J are gruesome fails of design.
  10. Any context?
  11. Why can't a darter throw a perfect game every time? A bowler? Biathlon? Archer? People are flawed. It is what keeps the human experience interesting.
  12. Not disappointed in the Dark glass 212 https://www.darkglass.com/creation/dg212n/ They do a 410 or 210 if that's your preference.
  13. Absolutely my favourite straps!
  14. That's a good thing too. Because your amp class comparison is, eh, less than accurate.
  15. It's white and gold! Or was it blue/black?
  16. Are you running the vt1 through the Thunder's pre or plugged in to the fx-return, bypassing its preamp? Does the vt1 have a line out or di out instead of the speaker out? Or could the Sumo be faulty.
  17. STRONG disagree. But forums are for opinions, so there's that. A bridge pup or mm bucker sound tighter when going that low.
  18. I think it's important to pick the most iconic bits of the selected songs. Nobody wants to hear some obscure reference or figure out what it was supposed to be near the end of the bit. Connect the pieces with drumfills or other transitional indicators. If you stop and count in again then you effectively start a new song.
  19. https://hermanbroodacademie.nl/samenwerken Website in Dutch unfortunately. Maybe see about a student exchange project? Located in Utrecht the Netherlands
  20. How about a muzzle?
  21. Haven't tried mine live yet. Seems to have fairly good off axis rejection. Works fine in the rehearsal room for a old school thrash metal band. What is the issue on stage?
  22. Or try a SM7b
  23. As a singing bass player...
  24. A quick google tells me there's no shortage of 8ohm 210s. It could yield a 110, 210, 310 or 410 configuration for any size room or stage together with the current cabs. Possibly more convenient to carry too. I like 12 inchers myself.
