  1. Understood Sean! I would only post this, even with its hard case, if I could be certain I could pack it safely in cardboard and bubble wrap. Let me think on
  2. Not sure if anyone has posted this up yet but here ya go. The front end of the MB Vintage amp. Not sure the big clunky Gain and Master controls will be to everyone's taste (they replicate those on the head) but seems like a useful feature set. No idea of pricing as yet
  3. For scale (pic 2). I am between 5 foot 10-11. Sorry I look like someone just peed in my shoes
  4. Yep there is a nice hard case but right now I have no shipping box unfortunately
  5. On Hold, pending a try-out next week
  6. Bought a beautiful bass off Simon and all was well. I have known this gent for some years and he is a top chap, so I am happy to add to the universally positive feedback
  7. Hi Frank, its £1400 including UK delivery (I generally use UPS) or £25 less if collected from me in Hammersmith area, London. Roughly £500 discount on new
  8. Back up FS as I need to fund a bass that has come up FS that I have hankered after for many moons. New pics here (PS, I have removed stick on dot decals on neck and will polish off the residue from the ebony board before sale!)
  9. I have a gently used vgc set of the much-praised Pirastro Perpetuals which I would like to trade for a similarly vgc set of Spiro 3/4 Solo strings. Any interest folks? For avoidance of doubt, I am only interested in the 3/4 Solo set (not Weichs, Mittels etc) as I love the tension and playability of this particular set on my bass. Ta!
  10. I would much prefer a straight sale but would entertain a px against a relatively light (9lb or less) US (or JV) Precision in sunburst/black/dakota or fiesta red which I could have as a backup for those situations where you simply must have a P bass - or alternatively I could just sell on (as I am much more into short scale these days). I have cut the price of my bass a long way so would expect any trade offer to be similarly 'fair'. Plus I am picky, so please don't be offended if I say no!
  11. I have now fashioned a box so its £1250 plus the relevant Interparcel/UPS delivery cost to UK or ex-UK For the avoidance of doubt (due to string changes mentioned above), it will be sold with D'Addario nickel rounds 45-105
  12. ^^^^ price drop, in case you missed it
  13. ^^^ £1250 for a 1986 Fender Reissue Jazz with stacked pots and in a super rare finish. Has to be good value?
  14. £100 drop to £800 if collected from SW London
  15. £1250 collected now (another £100 price drop), to get this moved on since my love affair with Jazz basses is over. Would also post under normal circumstances but don't currently have a box large enough to fit the Fender hardcase in
  16. Yeah but the other'uns not surf green!
  17. Very cool and one day I will persuade Jack to sell me that beautiful Lull 😂
  18. I currently have a '71 Fender Mustang (covers all rock/blues/Americana territory), an ACG Recurve 32" (plays itself and has very flexible active preamp, great for recording) and a Takamine TB10 (archtop fretless bass, great DB substitute). Plus my 3/4 old German DB. I also have a 62RI Jazz and Gretch hollowbody bass that are - to be frank - surplus to requirements as the three (electric) basses mentioned above are all I realistically need
  19. Fraid the seller hasnt been on BC since January 24, so I guess he sold here or elsewhere
