OK, thanks for that - ive gone for a couple of the Derlin Red Rock Control as they look the most robust and also "rubbery" to use the reverse way round. We shall hear how they sound and will advise in due time.

One 4 ohm cab and one 8 ohm cab would run at 2.67 ohms so no - and also the 4 ohm cab would draw 2/3 of the watts from the head so would be 50% louder than the 8 ohm. Complicated aint it!!
YES - use a 60s CV P-bass for 50% of our set and a US Musicman Sub for the other half. The Sq. really does do the job just as well as the M. and have no problem with the name on the headstock. Also it was a complete bargain which makes me feel even more smug when it sounds so crisp and punchy through my Eden Metro and D210 cab.
Very much an every-other weekend warrior. Son in the band also (youngest member) playing guitar and me at 57, playing anthems and indie floorfillers. Bloody love it and takes my mind off being a self-employed shop owner in this online world!!
Hi all - a new name to me. Has anyone any good or bad experiences of using their BC range incorporating Eminence custom speaker / drivers.
Thanks in anticipation, Paddy.
Have traded an item for a bass which has strings fitted with silver ball ends and red silks at the bridge and with blue silks at the headstock. Can anyone ID these strings for me please?
Regards all, Paddy.
