Aende You 'Sir' are getting slightly wound up....................Poor fellow. Bass is still on ebay. I have freewill and the ability to change my mind 'Sir' so if anyone is looking for a bargain please e-mail me 'Aende' that includes your good self. Regardless lets keep this thread content about selling the schecter basses.
It is not your statutory right that is in question, it is your integrity that is being questioned. Anyway, I am not sure how the 36 hour bump rule works for this thread; 2 sellers, 2 items, 2 start times? Or how the fee gets paid for advertising - assume you have paid to advertise? Issue closed as far as I am concerned. **great pic rayman, did you stage dive after putting the fear of god into the front rows?!
Will be moving on the schecter bass (sunburst one) for £280 inc postage. Feel free to mail me. Brian

Fear not folk no basses will be sold via basschat
Wtf???? Uses Raymans pics from thread to advertise externally, initially for a substantial increase. Won't be advertising on bc again and then hijacks the thread he bought from?! You, sir, are contrary and unbelievable....

My schecter California custom jazz came with oem emg jazz pickups and an emg bts preamp. It is a super hot bass which can be a problem if I am also using my stingray at the same gig. The sound is very bright and a bit much for my ear. I had a look at delano pickups and preamps, are they any good? Looking fir more thump and a bit less hifi and lower output!
i will make a massive profit of .................£30! Like most bass players i love buying, trying and selling basses and i have NEVER sold for a profit.
Up to you what you do with it once you have bought it. But;

re-using Rayman's picture; why not just wait for a week until you have a camera sorted out?
selling it so quickly after purchase, I would say does not give you time to 'really' try the bass out - I would persevere with it for a while especially after the expense and logistics
Justifying your actions on here to everyone when it was noticed.....
I would say that it does not look good, possible question of ethics and original intent....perception and all that. 'tis better to remain silent...... As for Rayman, have a bump on me. Assuming my Jazz sells, may be back to you for the other model T.

When and why did you stop pursuing a career in music?
aende replied to bassist_lewis's topic in General Discussion
Never did, [lesson] As a kid, I can remember when the Guitar Institute in LA opened, it was all over the UK magazines about this guitar specific institute right in the heart of the glbal music industry. I badly wanted to go and bought myself a plane ticket to LA from my 'Tesco' after college cash. Anyway, I didn't go and I got talked into a real job by my parents. I am now a parent and as such I am bloody determined that if my kids really want to do something, I will encourage and support all I can. [/lesson] However, I did wind up doing a big European tour with a boy band as a guitar player, I got asked to audition whilst playing guitar in a shop in Denmark street. I think I was jamming with Barrie Cardagon (of Little Barrie and Primal Scream fame). Luckily, I had just taken voluntary redundancy from a high paid job in London and was essentially given a years salary when I left, and was due to have a year off and travel. I got really lucky and got paid for 8 months 'work'. Played some big places, particularly in Germany and had a riot of a time with the show dancing girls.....This was back in 1999/2000 Came home after the tour and got another job in my chosen industry.... Would I want to be a full time musician? No, I don't have the creativity to come up with stuff that is good and I am too lazy to really 'learn' my instrument. No, Kinda like playing tunes to get away from work and not think too much No, Most of the executive people I met were complete d1cks and shamelessly full of sh1t. No, I am not into self promotion (which I think you have to be to network and get work as a musician) Happy in my chosen job with a good, consistent salary and having music as a diversion. -

Cheap hooker for 5 nights? In all seriousness, Rayman has a Schecter Model T for sale on the forum - buy that and spend the rest of scalextric.

***Now Sold - @Mods, please close this thread*** After much deliberation and screwing around, I have decided to sell my Schecter California Custom Jazz bass. The bass was originally a $900 instrument and only available in 2004. Was £250 - Now £200 inc shipping. Spec as Standard (OEM spec)

Hipshot bridge
Grover Tuners
EMG pickups
EMG Pre-amp
Flamed maple on Alder body
Maple neck with rosewood fretboard
Through body or bridge stringing
Controls

Volume
Balance (Between bridge and neck pickup)
Bass
Treble
The bass is a 35" scale and in beautiful condition. The only issue is very light buckle rash on the back which can only been seen with a very close inspection. Also included is a Roksak deluxe gigbag, well padded with lots of pockets! I will trade/Px for a Schecter model T or Diamond P bass or possibly a bass cab. PM me if you have something interesting to trade. Looking for a turbo trainer for cycle training or dura ace 7402 parts......! Happy to post in a strong box, mail me for a quote (Mainland GB should be ~£15). Or can be collected from West London. I think I wanna sell my stingray....but I am not sure!
aende replied to aende's topic in Bass Guitars
Think I have found a donor bass: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NINJA-AXIS-solid-body-electric-bass-guitar-/261357293613?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3cda1bd02d -
They have a white/green hue when mashed, tend not to serve with skin on. Burple, as my youngest says...before refusing to eat....

Christmas should have no class IMHO. It should be trashy, so your tinsel is perfect. My preference is the metallic purple and pink tinsel that adorns my bike at the moment.....my wife banned it from the tree. Kids generally regard green food as poison.....I lost the food fight, but am going for a win on bathtime.
-
What colour is the tinsel? I am afraid that I don't have a bf cab to swap.....but I can swap a fight, something that occurs around bf cabs. I would be happy to swap the fight that i am currently having with my three year old about eating dinner....... You gain an unwinnable fight, I gain tinsel

I think I wanna sell my stingray....but I am not sure!
aende replied to aende's topic in Bass Guitars
I played the 'ray again last night after a string change and my view has changed, it requires very little input for allot of output. I generally run the amp flat (Markbass F500 through SWR Golight 112's - Kinda like Vanderkleys) and it sounded rather good - added a little low mid at ~250Hz and put the VPF on to about 1/3rd. Really chunky sound. The 'ray 3eq is running: Treble - just startung to bite Middle - just over half/notch Bass - almost full on I played my Jazz too; Schecter California Custom with EMG pickups and Pre amp 35" scale bass - It sounded tighter and more focussed than the 'ray. Contrast; a little towards from pickup Bass; just over half Treble: Middle/starting to bite I think I was gassing over nothing......! Although part of me still likes the idea of building or buying a PM style bass.......I may swap out the Schecter as 35" scale is pretty big to play! -
Kim Deal and singing - really?!?!?! I was brought up on the PIxies and Sonic Youth....great bands, of their era.
