1. I had an ampeg 610 and Aguilar db750 so loud, could get a very nice ampeg grind (or close to) but it's taken me going through lightweight amps and cabs to finally work my way back to an ashdown CTM and 810. Maybe start with the amp, I had a mark bass tube 800 and it sounded pretty good with the 610
2. dnt judge the playing ok! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmCSvKXuN_U andy
3. The min 4ohms load, probs means a total across both outputs, norm for every combo I've seen is an 8ohm can configure so you can add a second 8ohm cab. Andy
4. something about an 810! love mine would need a special cab to make me move mine on. andy
5. there is alot to work out, plannign on trying it out on wednesday, recording a bit of audio for my youtube channel. but also using it as an experiment for recording later this month. planning on tracking a stack left and right and then having a cleanish di bass up the centre for some clean lows as the left and right are gonna be after the dirt etc so will give a fat sound, well we will see how it goes andy
6. took a trip to see the Brazilian thrash band Nervosa a few other awesome bands! managed to get a few pics https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1026234007417328.1073741857.657724774268255&type=3
7. Love it now I've had for a few weeks, have to ep-3 on the mix so can go from dry to fully wet easily and quickly, also means I can leave the moog on so that the drive nob is active. Such a nice sounding thing!! More moog in my future And as has been said this thing does way more than what it should be able to do!! This with the fuzzrocious demon or my cog Tarkin is just awesome. Andy
8.
Needs forethought with the P.A company as they'll need two channels for it. What it will realistically achieve i'm not sure, unless you can brief the engr what you are trying to achieve...and get him to work with that. Most jobbing engrs would probably not want to bother...
sound wise with the moog and delay in stereo with a bit of fuzz/drive it just sounds huge running in stereo, so im def looking at doing this for a recording rig, but it be nice to take that sound to bigger venues. looking at getting an abm combo to act as the second amp. also i should hopefully be able to ask an engineer that id like them to di 2 things, but ill always have the ability to quickly go mono. andy
9. Considering going stereo after doing a few sound tests in practice, and both the my Moog ClusterFlux and Boss DD-7 sounding very nice with there big sounds getting even bigger. but im kinda thinking of how in a live sense it would work, on smaller stages id probs just run mono into my 810/ctm rig but thinking on a big stage as long as the pa gets the stereo r/l signals then i can get away with having the two rigs pretty close to each other? looking for advice? andy
10. Grab a little blender, the bright onion ones are very nice that's what I use, or you could grab a boss ls-2 Andy
11.
Sounds great! Will be interesting to hear how it plays with Bass Si
There's a little bit with bass at the end of the video, love the heavily gated sound! Can't wait to try it
12. I think he's putting the thumpinator in his loop so it's after the preamp of the amp, as then it would go through you pedals have a full range hitting the pre amp then have the hpf applied before it goes to the power amp. Would depend on you effects loop, from what you have id just put it end of the chain and go into the front of the amp. Andy
13.
I'd wait and see ... their talk about the deluxe version distorting with bass, and the demo video mentioning "an SVT vibe" with the bass version has me wondering. I personally want a clean compressor, though adding harmonic content is perhaps right up someone else's alley.
it does sound a bit more grindy than my cali76-g which has a little bit of grind in it my guess is that might go if you dropped the input/output down but they arent cranked in the video, does sound very nice, but id have to be 100% sure before i did the change as origin dnt make my cali anymore. andy
14. i put mine last in the chain so it covers everything andy
15. just took a stab on this! it looks crazy and sounds mental had to have a gamble! https://www.youtube....h?v=kxwzhPULA3Y Andy
16. I've headed back to wired! Even tho having the chord is a bit of a pain sometimes. I had a gig where I had no need for the wireless, could of been me but there was a. It more top end and low end using the cable, my effects sounded better so I've stuck with being on a cable since, have thought of trying again at some point tho
17. another happy gigrig user here, upgraded from the diago power supplies not because there bad but just the ease of the gigrig system made sense, and the fact that i can run the alot of big pedals and not worry is a massive bonus! admit my power is overkill as i have 2 distributors and 2 isolators. but as a warning be sure to check what gigrig advice to supply your unit with as i didnt check the first time and found a few of my pedals didnt like the iso power. andy
18. so redid the board! i seem to like big pedals! im considering going stereo so the moog clusterflux goes out in stereo into the dd-7, also the littel gap on the end is just big enough to squeeze the ep-3 expression pedal aswell

21.
Why two tuners?!
I want to say this is a dual bass/ octave up guitar rig so the tuners might be a easy way to split/mute signal? Andy
