1.
The Reverant I think...? Is there a list of what was there as it was a really interesting mix?
that thing made my wallet scared! lovely playing bass! ive forgotten the guy who had its name! had a really nice sovtek fuzz aswell! andy
 2.
Great afternoon, got to play on some different stuff that I now want, and generally ruin the nice calm sense of not really wanting anything new! Took some pics, and recorded some audio. The pics follow, in no particular order, and the audio will once I have dug it out later. The only thing we established for sure is that the indonesian MarkBass combo is better than the Italian one for weight and sound!
somes up my afternoon ! was a good get together! some really nice basses on show! Andy
 3. for adding some grit on the cheap def worth looking into the boss obd-3 plenty of clean on a lower gain setting and you should be close. andy
 4.
It sounds angry.
very angry! andy
 5.
I had to make a drawing to remind myself of the pedalboard routing, this is the current setup which has been stable for an unusually long time. I think I should perhaps make one little change and move the tremolo after the delay.
woah that Starla's pretty cool! andy
 6. So it arrived today! holy crap! this thing is brutal!!! the first thing that hits you is the volume! about 9oclock is a little boost to the signal! at 12 i nearly crapped myself! god only knows why you would need it louder! feed this with my mxr Submachine and the sound was crazy! and the switch that brings in the oscillator makes it go even more mental! need to do video!
 7.
Well the MarkBass Italian vs. Indonesian test is on! If anyone has a good video camera that will do bass sounds justice it may be good to record it for Basschat posterity.
I'll happily bring my camera, in the right place it gives a decent representation
 8. arrived yesterday, had first go on it this morning! holy crap is all i can say! this thing sounds so good! and with the favourite switch its like having 3 pedals considering you can stand on the tap switch and get infinite reverb. Andy
 9.
If memory serves it went through a 300w 410, it just about kept up but that meant maxing the volume and pushing the input more than I would have liked. I didn't try the abm evo, I was thinking class D at the time, at the moment without bass head, if I had the money I wouldn't hesitate to get the rm800.
At 8ohms I can maybe see why it was struggling maybe if you got a couple of 210's I think you'd be fine get the load to 4ohms
 10.
Don't quite get the logic of that argument (and not trolling or trying to pick a fight here). Surely it is down to which one is better, not the brand name?
it was more about those being the most expensive 810's i know nothing about brands.
 11.
£1500.....
That's crazy!! That's more than the ampeg heritage 810! And the orange! Yeh it's gonna be light but Christ!
 12.
Hmmm, be wary that the "looper" doesn't quite work the same as the Ditto, etc, and requires some experimentation...You'll see what I mean! Awesome echo though, and one of my essentials. Whack up the "wow and flutter" straightaway and you'll be in heaven! ☺
Yeh it's a little dif. Yeh the delays sound really big really interested in looking into the extra functions etc
 13. Been looking at strymon stuff for a while, it sounds awesome a lot to tweak and mess with, had another look tonight and was trying to see what would sort me more the el capistan or the brigadier the while on the strynon site I found that the capistan has a looper! And that was it! Hit the buy it now!!! And got the fav switch aswell so it's like two awesome delays now. Not that I dnt like the dd7 but I can still have delay with the strymon and loop we will see if the strymon works out soon! Andy
 14. i seem to constantly say this but checkout the gigrig stuff, awesome quality and not silly money. andy
 15. Give Lateral Sounds a google, and look at the Spore, thats a really nice dirty pedal that really cuts thru a band mix. andy
 16. Planet waves for me Andy
 17.
That is a cool tuning for drop C guitar mayhem!
it is plus it also makes it easy to play the D standard songs! andy
 18. I have my five string a bit different to the norm i guess, in my band we tune down to d standard and drop c, but i like having the open low note as a C sounds nicer to me than fretting..........IMO so i tune my bass CDGCF it also means i can hit some of my crazy octave sounds and play the line on my high C sounds really cool. andy
 19.
Gigrig Power Generator system. http://www.thegigrig...tor-c2x15357206
gig rig generator! with one supply you'll be able to power everything, and theres an adaptor so you can power the moog aswell andy
 20. ill double check with the boss, but i should be good to bring my gear ashdown ctm-100 and 810 and my big pedalboard, some cog stuff, lots of fuzzrocious, some Moog and a few other bits andy
 21.
Aweomse!!! I LOVE foogers.. I'm curretly on my fourth but intend adding a MIDI MuRF as soon as is humanly possible, closel followed by the cluster fux (which was shep's fault!!!! pantherairsort on here is the Moog king and corrupyed my tiny mind edit: only joking shep me old mate) Any quesytions feel free to ask mate Daz..
i blame shep for my fuzzrocious addiction andy
 22. its worth keeping in mind that its could also be how they effect your amp, the volume bump is easy to sort but you might find that one of those pedals has a mid hump so will push your amp harder or one will have a mid scoop and you have to dial the amp a certain way which will effect other things. a non daisy chain power supply will help but drive is a really tricky thing to get right, as it really down to your ears and lots of trial and error! andy
 23.
Haven't seen these before this thread, very impressed
the best chorus sound ever! and then it has the flanging side which sounds so good! with the ep3 its very cool pedal! andy
 24.
Now that pedal sounds great. I've been after a nice analog octave pedal for a while now. Add that fuzz in and I think I just found the number one item on this years Xmas list - time to start droping some heavy-handed hints
I think I'm def gonna have to try it!
 25.
I returned it, the carrier signal was far too loud to be usable. mayble mine had bypassed final QC? Either way, it wasn't for me so back it went.
Fair one saved some gas
