1.
That is a cool tuning for drop C guitar mayhem!
it is plus it also makes it easy to play the D standard songs! andy
 2. I have my five string a bit different to the norm i guess, in my band we tune down to d standard and drop c, but i like having the open low note as a C sounds nicer to me than fretting..........IMO so i tune my bass CDGCF it also means i can hit some of my crazy octave sounds and play the line on my high C sounds really cool. andy
 3.
Gigrig Power Generator system. http://www.thegigrig...tor-c2x15357206
gig rig generator! with one supply you'll be able to power everything, and theres an adaptor so you can power the moog aswell andy
 4. ill double check with the boss, but i should be good to bring my gear ashdown ctm-100 and 810 and my big pedalboard, some cog stuff, lots of fuzzrocious, some Moog and a few other bits andy
 5.
Aweomse!!! I LOVE foogers.. I'm curretly on my fourth but intend adding a MIDI MuRF as soon as is humanly possible, closel followed by the cluster fux (which was shep's fault!!!! pantherairsort on here is the Moog king and corrupyed my tiny mind edit: only joking shep me old mate) Any quesytions feel free to ask mate Daz..
i blame shep for my fuzzrocious addiction andy
 6. its worth keeping in mind that its could also be how they effect your amp, the volume bump is easy to sort but you might find that one of those pedals has a mid hump so will push your amp harder or one will have a mid scoop and you have to dial the amp a certain way which will effect other things. a non daisy chain power supply will help but drive is a really tricky thing to get right, as it really down to your ears and lots of trial and error! andy
 7.
Haven't seen these before this thread, very impressed
the best chorus sound ever! and then it has the flanging side which sounds so good! with the ep3 its very cool pedal! andy
 8.
Now that pedal sounds great. I've been after a nice analog octave pedal for a while now. Add that fuzz in and I think I just found the number one item on this years Xmas list - time to start droping some heavy-handed hints
I think I'm def gonna have to try it!
 9.
I returned it, the carrier signal was far too loud to be usable. mayble mine had bypassed final QC? Either way, it wasn't for me so back it went.
Fair one saved some gas
 10.
I just stuck a Radial Stage Bug (SB-2) to my Metro 16, really please with it and at £65 I cant see anything better for the money out there.
those passive radials are class! andy
 11.
'I am the lord of the FUNK said he'...
haha good one andy

 13. at the fear of me getting gas, hows the gonk? andy
 14.
So was Skyfall. (Apart from the comedy drum fill into the chorus, obviously.)
i didnt mind skyfall, it worked as a bond theme, my fave bond theme to date still has to be alicia keys and jack white! that song was awesome! andy
 15. im still game, exeter is closer but bristol isnt so bad andy
 16. Morning guys doing the normal search on the web to see what pedals are around and have always liked the Red Witch stuff, and came across there second bass specific pedal the "Zeus" as with there factotum drive pedal there an analogue octave with a mix control and then theres the silicone fuzz based on there Fuzz god 2 pedal. it sounds to me anyway seriously good! if you dnt like aggressive fuzz then this probs isnt for you! but as a big lover of the mxr submachine this is something id love to have a go on! http://www.redwitchpedals.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=54&Itemid=86 Andy
 17. i listened to the first few seconds, and thought well it sounds like a rip off of some old bond music......... after skyfall tho this really is horse crap!
 18. dnt really use the lo switch but octaves i have alot of those on my board! andy
 19. latest incarnation! got myself a pedal train Classic pro, also added a ehx pitchfork and ringthing for some crazy! well until i get a few more things that are hopefully on the way! Andy
 20. Just ordered a pedal train classic pro, got a hard case aswell! Can't wait Andy
 21. i used my old 1000 thru an obc 410, crazy loud never above 2! not the most useful eq but does have a little amount of change in it, but its strength is in the hard rock grind. awesome amp headroom for days! andy
 22.
Great setup! How are you finding the radial di? Looks worth a shot at £70...
i used the radial on my bands latest recording sounds really good and has everything a di needs plus its tiny!! andy
 23.
Out of interest, how similar is the MXR Bass Distortion to the fuzzrocious rat circuits? I found that pedal truly awful, but with all the positive talk about these circuits I assume MXR just got it rather wrong? It did seem to suffer from the usual MXR dirt pedal complaints i.e really poor separation between clean and distorted, thin wet signal etc.
not played the mxr, but it does sound pretty decent, just not as nice as the Rat/Cat tail, my guess is adding the blend must have changed something......know nothing about the insides of the pedals tho! the rat king really does sound good tho!
 24. if you get the bass right it will make everything else sound huge. for me its all about the valves! and my 810......and i could play with that but with a few really nice dirt pedals i can change the feel a bit, from aggressive sounding to big a fat! give the ashdown ctm a try, but also i did used to use a markbass lm2 with effects and that sounded good, i basically look at it as my job to fill in the gaps in the dirt of the guitars and get some lows that work with the kick. the ctm100 and mag 810 works in my band, and also dnt forget your amp still needs mids :-) one of the reasons i love the sealed 810! andy
 25. love my boss DD-7 has alot inside, including modulation, reverse, analog but also has a very good looper. but the ehx memory boy maybe worth a look really nice delay that one! andy
