1.
Had a stache and sold it. It seemed pretty decent but I found it got a bit lost. In terms of the heavy chorus and octave use, me too... I find the COG stuff works well with those and also the Dwarfcraft eau Clare / silver rose. Black arts pharaoh seems a good shout for the bass too.
got myself a tarkin on the board already ;-)
 2. So my boards pretty big! but im thinking of adding another flavour of fuzz, im thinking either wren and cuff TFR or Fuzzrocious grey stache basically something muff based? ive listened to alot of demos of them they both seem heavy as hell! but how do they take being layered with other effects, i use octaves and chorus heavily but also like to stack drives. anyone care to share there 2 cents? Andy
 3. sold pending the norm
 4. so im not using this as much as i should so im looking to move it on! so many sounds in this thing!! 9 pre-sets and it can do some crazy things! you can see the pedal there bottom right. 40 quid plus postage Andy
 5. sometimes a bit of drive will help, maybe something to fatten like a chorus or when the guitarist hits a solo try playing something a bit dif to the normal riff andy
 6. hi all my band is opening for Evil Scarecrow next friday cant wait for this as those guys are wicked! https://www.facebook.com/events/497896223709392/
 7.
I'm gonna need a bigger [s]boat[/s] board!
yes......yes you are! andy
 8. something for my just worked when i played thru an 810 for the first time, something about the sealed cab and the way its built just works for me, ive tried alot of rigs but my ashdown is the one that stuck around (i know this thread is about ampegs but my mag is a sealed 810) that works with the way i play, yes there are lighter and more efficient cabs out there but for me its the 810. and if you have decent band mates and a reasonable car the moving around really isnt to bad. Andy

 11. this is an awesome little blender much small than a boss type pedal, bright led, and it has a phase switch which has come in super handy! a bargin at only 40 quid! also selling my two ashdown pedals, these were going to stay but needs must, ive got the bearded lady and doctors note will send you both for 60 quid! the bearded lady is a fuzz, and the doctors note is an envelope filter, both sound great! all prices include postage! andy
 12.
Hey there, It was me with the retro bass and the old Sovtek fuzz, The bass was indeed a Reverend Rumblefish, great basses with the best necks ever. They look bizarre but can be a real fender jazz killer.. I had some flats on that one but need to get some round-wounds back on there as the bass really shines with them. Next time i will hopefully be able to bring more and get my pedalboard sorted out so people can try it properly!!
that rev was a nice bass! andy
 13.
I've just picked up this absolute gem of a pedal! Anyone else got an insane amount of love for COG at the minute?? Had a few pedals for quite a while now, keep going back for more.... Sexy video for those uninitiated https://youtu.be/UEvfbd4c6ZM
Love my t65, I have it as part of my custom cog pedal Andy
 14.
Hi Andy - the tunes on the Shuker were not at all distasteful! Glad you enjoyed playing it and liked the 'insane' colour! Norm - read what Andy said!!!
that was seriously an awesome colour!
 15.
Hi David, Message from my wife, apparently, I don't need them at all! Bah humbug.
but you do need them honest! also i feel i should say sorry to dave for playing such distasteful things on his lovely shuker..........lol
 16.
The Reverant I think...? Is there a list of what was there as it was a really interesting mix?
that thing made my wallet scared! lovely playing bass! ive forgotten the guy who had its name! had a really nice sovtek fuzz aswell! andy
 17.
Great afternoon, got to play on some different stuff that I now want, and generally ruin the nice calm sense of not really wanting anything new! Took some pics, and recorded some audio. The pics follow, in no particular order, and the audio will once I have dug it out later. The only thing we established for sure is that the indonesian MarkBass combo is better than the Italian one for weight and sound!
somes up my afternoon ! was a good get together! some really nice basses on show! Andy
 18. for adding some grit on the cheap def worth looking into the boss obd-3 plenty of clean on a lower gain setting and you should be close. andy
 19.
It sounds angry.
very angry! andy
 20.
I had to make a drawing to remind myself of the pedalboard routing, this is the current setup which has been stable for an unusually long time. I think I should perhaps make one little change and move the tremolo after the delay.
woah that Starla's pretty cool! andy
 21. So it arrived today! holy crap! this thing is brutal!!! the first thing that hits you is the volume! about 9oclock is a little boost to the signal! at 12 i nearly crapped myself! god only knows why you would need it louder! feed this with my mxr Submachine and the sound was crazy! and the switch that brings in the oscillator makes it go even more mental! need to do video!
 22.
Well the MarkBass Italian vs. Indonesian test is on! If anyone has a good video camera that will do bass sounds justice it may be good to record it for Basschat posterity.
I'll happily bring my camera, in the right place it gives a decent representation
 23. arrived yesterday, had first go on it this morning! holy crap is all i can say! this thing sounds so good! and with the favourite switch its like having 3 pedals considering you can stand on the tap switch and get infinite reverb. Andy
 24.
If memory serves it went through a 300w 410, it just about kept up but that meant maxing the volume and pushing the input more than I would have liked. I didn't try the abm evo, I was thinking class D at the time, at the moment without bass head, if I had the money I wouldn't hesitate to get the rm800.
At 8ohms I can maybe see why it was struggling maybe if you got a couple of 210's I think you'd be fine get the load to 4ohms
