1. did a little comparison video, not very long just showing of a number of settings on both pedals ranging from extreme to subtle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUVAirjScIE andy
 2.
Sounds pretty good to me, EHX beats the JHS! http://youtu.be/1w9HURvm2ec
The jhs sounds different tho not the standard drive! I'm thinking of getting this as the colour box is too expensive really for what I'd use Andy
 3. i sure will, comparison video will be coming! if i like the compact the cali-g will be up for sale (no an add but if someone interested pm me ) andy
 4. ive got alot of pedals! they range from cheap to expensive! i have no worries about buying a cheaper pedal, for instance the behringer trem if it does as good job as a crazy priced boutique! but i must admit im a bit of a boutique guy, as they really do make the crazy stuff! however people like fuzzrocious and earthquaker devices (who are blowing up now) arent to bad price wise for what you get. Andy
 5.
I have had the same inner-thought process recently... it's a dangerous path that leads to a blue sky and a timeline and a big overdraft!!
thankfully im only in for the delay atm, hoping strymon dnt come out with something crazy! but then on the other end there the moog delay! Andy
 6.
I see a Strymon in my life in 2016...
im really trying to resist the brigadier atm, although then i start thinking if im gonna have those two i may aswell get a timeline! Andy
 7.
Just finished the new board layout for the next few Corybantic shows. Signal path: Bass-> SFX Loop Logic: Channel 1: TC Polytune Nano -> COG 66 -> Ibanez Phaser -> Boss VB-2 -> COG T-16 -> Mr Black Eterna. Channel 2: EHX Nano POG -> Fuzzrocious Rat Tail. Loop Logic main output -> EHX Bass Micro Synth -> Line 6 DL-4 -> Amp. All powered by a Gigrig Generator & 2 distributors & loaded into a Diago Showman. Si
Nice
 8. I just got a bass compact on loan from origin, Will see how it is compared to my current 76-g Andy
 9.
How does it interact with other pedals? Fuzz, chorus, boost pedal & compressor? Would be also be interested to hear it in front of an amp and di. Where did you order them from? I really wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.
was nice enough of pike to loan me these for demo purposes, ok so so far ive got clean fingerstyle with lots of effects ill post the videos here aswell in case folks havent seen them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7kcjhbTJnc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlywbVQG0t0 Andy
 10. I'm doing another video on these to show some more sounds I didn't put in my other demos as it would have made them really long. So far I have in my to do list Clean sounds with the xl Finger style playing Anything else you guys would like to see? Andy
 11.
It's sounds lovley. Could work well as an 'always on' pre type effect to me
would work really well for that. as promised guys! heres the Vulcan XL demo! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7kcjhbTJnc
 12.
Great stuff, I like the tone of it. It is less grindy than a B3K and the switch B15-Hi Gain is a cool feature. I never liked the DG VMT much it never felt as if the dirt and clean gelled. it appears this may be a great alternative to that pedal and would be a good in addition to the B3K on my board.
thats what i like so many blends are crap this works well with the independent controls for each andy
 13. first of the videos! first up the smaller "Vulcan" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlywbVQG0t0 only in size! Andy
 14.
Any initial thoughts?
Both sound very nice, the colour setting are very nice a lot of sounds and the the little Vulcan has a lot of sounds in it! I haven't played any darkglass stuff but from videos I have to say the pikes are def a dif sound, less gainy at the top end. Andy
 15. Demos done and edited will be up at some point today. Andy
 16. Have a look at strymon stuff really nice delays
 17.
you don't half get through some pedals Andy!!
i do indeed ;-) Andy
 18. Looking forward to trying out these pair. Andy
 19.
got to be the TK421x from COG for me - I've always had a hankering for a RAT based pedal, and after trying most of the popular ones (fuzzrocious, idiot box, not to mention the original RAT) the COG just sounds right. It's the core tone for my new band
I really do need to try that one!!
 20. hi guys please move this if needed my band Six Sins till Sunday, are looking for gigs out side of plymouth, if you have 5 mins please check us out. https://www.reverbnation.com/sixsinstillsunday?profile_view_source=profile_box https://sixsinstillsunday.bandcamp.com/releases andy
 21.
Doug did let on though that they'd analysed the original studio recording projects (made before Darkglass were even around) that were done with a combination of amps and plugins in order to replicate that sound using one pedal:
love that song, can feel my wallet getting a tad scared!
 22. Kev did you say there were soundclips of the stockman pedal? andy
 23. board changed again andy
 24. most trems will work fine on bass, there are some more in depth one's, but for a cheap trem to play with the behringer is a very good choice or maybe the mooer.
 25.
Ah, first glimpse of the Jon Stockman distortion, sounded good in the couple of sound clip teasers posted over the last few months, hopefully aesthetics improve
now thats interesting, looks like basically a b3k with some b7k bit thrown in, love stockman's dirt sound
