Nice job! That T-16 looks so tempting, but I just can't decide if it's that or the T-65. Some say the T-16 is even slightly better sound wise but I think I'd like the added functionality of the bigger pedal.
For me they sound the same, just comes down to if you want the loop and the dirty octave up
Nice board dude. Particularly enjoying the mike stand
It's the way I've taped the mic on that really makes it lol ;-) -
you should spend some of your pedals budget on more tinsel for that tree mate nice board - how is the tentacle working out??
haha no need we have a cat so no tinsel. the tentacle is wicked, really happy with it, really brings the fuzz's that little bit more bit (not that they need it) and the bottom end doesnt disappear. well worth a try, does need an isolated power supply tho. was a volume cut when i ran it straight for my gigrig distributor. so not 100% how it would be for people with daisy chains etc. Andy -
You're not wrong, lad.
its pretty out there, used it at practice last night using the eqd tentacle octave up after it and then in to my strymon delay and it sounded huge, obviously you have to play high up the neck but sounded wicked. Moog Cluster Flux ( I've added a video!)
Jeez. I'm getting blamed for everything!!!! Seriously though, the Cluster Flux is legendary. Easily the greatest sounding chorus I've had my hands on, and one of the best flangers. The scope of other worldly noises you can get from it is mind blowing. It does very convincing whale noises, and some epic 'time slowing down pitch dive bombs'. Damn it's a great pedal. Truly epic. My fav fooger after the LPF.
yeh its great, going nowhere! although im interested in trying the minifooger chorus and flanger, as they should be in theory the same! Andy -
I ran into this video a couple of weeks ago and I must say it rekindled my lust for the Cluster Flux. Thank you for making it! Now I just need to save up...
glad you liked it man, they are awesome pedals! -
You going to do a video Andy?
indeed will be doing one hopefully early next week Andy
Cheers, that would be very interesting. Certainly keen to know if my unit is defective or if it just sounds a bit pants.
finally got it today, i think you must have a busted unit mate, bit fat very aggressive fuzz, i think thats why you have the high end roll of to take of the harsh top if you dnt want it, i however do! from playing it shortly mind im loving it! and the octave down is lovely! and my sputter control works well so i think you got a duffer.
I don't think it's a rippof when people use the knowledge they aquire on a company when they go work on another. Take a look at Ashdown vs Trace, or the SWR > Eden > Thundefunk history and many more. I also never read so much hate on the internet when people buy the Behringer rippofs of Boss pedals or a Sadowsky/Allevo/etc. that are basicly Fender clones... But then comes Mr Hall and he's the villain that won't allow for his stuf to be copied/inspired... I'm not taking anybody's side, i own a Groove Regulator and a finnish B3K, excelent top quality gear. Spencer and Doug are really pushing the bass pedal boundaries forward. I just think that people should think twice before taking sides on something that's not really an issue. If Pike releases a better "B3K" it's not copy, it's progress, isn't it?
Very well sad man! Andy -
im all about the Moog ClusterFlux! awesome chorus andy

Thinking of swapping my OBT500 & OBC410 but for what??
0175westwood29 replied to highwayone's topic in Amps and Cabs
never had any trouble getting big low end out of my obt1000 and obc410, def turn the tweeter of but what eq have you got going on? have you got active elecs going in pushing the treble or mids? andy -
For me mines a must, i have sounds i cant get from my amp on it own, and sounds that are song specific, so i couldnt gig with my band without it......well i could but it would sound wrong to me.

If nothing has been done wrong legally, then whats the problem? is the darkglass an original circuit design? no one complains about mooer or tone city. Andy -
Great demo! Do I have to buy both a T-65 and a T-16 then?
thanks man! yes really it only makes sense to!
T-16 looks very interesting! Expensive though, me thinks. I'd still like one...eventually. Is this an oc2 based pedal? The filter is just a top end roll off or does it do some more 'interesting' stuff? Does it maybe add some 'grrrrrrrrrr'? That'd be nice. Very nice looking!
much more than a high end roll of! ;-) but ill let tom explain it as he do a better job! but can go from clean to almost synth!
I'd love to hear this pedal (Any pedal actually) demoed by somebody else...
i can help with that soon ;-)
Yeah they both sound great, only issue for me is that I've shelled out a fair bit on pedals recently and an octave is more of an 'extra' than an essential, which is why I'm leaning more towards say the Organizer, as it can do some more interesting things perhaps. I'll likely save up a bit and perhaps investing in a nice octave like the Octron/Cog at a later date I think
thing is it wnt do a standard octave if thats what you would like to do aswell? andy
