1. I just got a bass compact on loan from origin, Will see how it is compared to my current 76-g Andy
 2.
How does it interact with other pedals? Fuzz, chorus, boost pedal & compressor? Would be also be interested to hear it in front of an amp and di. Where did you order them from? I really wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.
was nice enough of pike to loan me these for demo purposes, ok so so far ive got clean fingerstyle with lots of effects ill post the videos here aswell in case folks havent seen them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7kcjhbTJnc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlywbVQG0t0 Andy
 3. I'm doing another video on these to show some more sounds I didn't put in my other demos as it would have made them really long. So far I have in my to do list Clean sounds with the xl Finger style playing Anything else you guys would like to see? Andy
 4.
It's sounds lovley. Could work well as an 'always on' pre type effect to me
would work really well for that. as promised guys! heres the Vulcan XL demo! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7kcjhbTJnc
 5.
Great stuff, I like the tone of it. It is less grindy than a B3K and the switch B15-Hi Gain is a cool feature. I never liked the DG VMT much it never felt as if the dirt and clean gelled. it appears this may be a great alternative to that pedal and would be a good in addition to the B3K on my board.
thats what i like so many blends are crap this works well with the independent controls for each andy
 6. first of the videos! first up the smaller "Vulcan" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlywbVQG0t0 only in size! Andy
 7.
Any initial thoughts?
Both sound very nice, the colour setting are very nice a lot of sounds and the the little Vulcan has a lot of sounds in it! I haven't played any darkglass stuff but from videos I have to say the pikes are def a dif sound, less gainy at the top end. Andy
 8. Demos done and edited will be up at some point today. Andy
 9. Have a look at strymon stuff really nice delays
 10.
you don't half get through some pedals Andy!!
i do indeed ;-) Andy
 11. Looking forward to trying out these pair. Andy
 12.
got to be the TK421x from COG for me - I've always had a hankering for a RAT based pedal, and after trying most of the popular ones (fuzzrocious, idiot box, not to mention the original RAT) the COG just sounds right. It's the core tone for my new band
I really do need to try that one!!
 13. hi guys please move this if needed my band Six Sins till Sunday, are looking for gigs out side of plymouth, if you have 5 mins please check us out. https://www.reverbnation.com/sixsinstillsunday?profile_view_source=profile_box https://sixsinstillsunday.bandcamp.com/releases andy
 14.
Doug did let on though that they'd analysed the original studio recording projects (made before Darkglass were even around) that were done with a combination of amps and plugins in order to replicate that sound using one pedal:
love that song, can feel my wallet getting a tad scared!
 15. Kev did you say there were soundclips of the stockman pedal? andy
 16. board changed again andy
 17. most trems will work fine on bass, there are some more in depth one's, but for a cheap trem to play with the behringer is a very good choice or maybe the mooer.
 18.
Ah, first glimpse of the Jon Stockman distortion, sounded good in the couple of sound clip teasers posted over the last few months, hopefully aesthetics improve
now thats interesting, looks like basically a b3k with some b7k bit thrown in, love stockman's dirt sound
 19.
This can be an issue, but a lot of the time it isn't. Most speakers can't reproduce those frequencies anyway, and those that can will only produce a very small amount of them. What you're hearing is harmonics sometimes a couple of octaves higher. You'll find that you'll be able to turn the amp up louder without hitting its limits, and saving the speakers!
+1 my 6 string has a low E, ie an octave below a normal bass, i have no idea what hz that is but its below the cut off but you can still hear and feel it, plus having the thumpinator there at the end makes me alot more comfortable using the crazy octaves that i have and not worrying about super lows. on the meat box front which i have thought about i think id work it in with a di before the thump, so i could send the dirty to the pa and clean using the new trs out to carry on in the rest of the board Andy
 20.
That ultra is lush .........shuder to think how much it will be mind?
it does look really nice! Andy
 21. hi all hope everyone had a wicked NYE! and indeed festive period! just wondering if anyone like me who throughout the year has amassed a lot of new pedals, do you have a fave? for me the winner this year even tho its crazy, and not the most usable well until a project starts soon, the Cicada fuzz by Fuzzrocious great fuzz and add in the trem and gate and its a winner! https://www.youtube....h?v=CVC_U53DG7o very close second and third receptively The Redwitch "Zeus" and Lateral Sound "Spore" haha would you look at that there all fuzzes! Andy
 22.
Cheers for the update Andy, Mine sounded nothing like your demo there. It just either did massive fizz or no gain at all and the sputter knob didn't work. The fizz was not just bass sound being a bit too treble focused; it was a high pitch nasty noise that made it sound like a dying trannie amp. After listening to your video I would be tempted to try one again.
Well worth it mate! Andy
 23.
Great demo! How did you order that spec? First red grey stache I've seen, red isn't listed as an option for colours.
Thanks man Tbh honest I just said for Ryan to do what he wanted as long as it was colourful.
 24.
Dead jealous, I really want a grey stache! Congrats though
they do sound very nice! ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTxnXIo2UPg Andy
 25. Video demo of the Tremorslo now live on my YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi_y2FFW6Zk&sns=tw Andy
