2. hey guys anyone done or know where to find a decent demo for one of these? thinking about pulling the trigger on one and can only find guitar demos which sound cool but wondering if anyone has used one of these with fuzz or dirt. and how'd you find it? andy
3. still up for a south west bash, bristol is a bit far for me to come as its about 4 hrs drive, but still up for an exeter bash for sure andy

8. depends if you want clean octave up? what are you going to use this for? pog is very digital and clean, you could try and look at an cog effects t-65 which has an effects loop to blend dirt pedals or other effects in with the octave, but the octave up is dirty and more to fill out the sound a bit more. andy

11. only good things to say about my esp, awesome bass and looks alot more pricey than it is, pluss the active eq is really good for getting alot of sounds out of the bass! it will also take random tunings, mine has a 175 low e for god sake! andy
12. made a compilation of all three tracks we managed to record from our set. https://www.youtube....h?v=yfIWz6EMmuc

15. hate to say it but sounds like you have tried to come up with a solution to a problem that never existed. to me if you want to go straight into a pa then get a preamp with a di like an vt bass or mxr m80 or sansamp, and di from that. with two pedals you could get an orange ish tone, say a sansamp and something to model an orange crunch, like a eqd monarch. andy
16.
I love the reverb Justin Chancellor uses on The Grudge when the song drops down to just bass At 1:19 https://youtu.be/EiR1hmpk-x4 Also his use of whammy? Wah? At 9:33 in this, not sure but awesome. https://youtu.be/VZXJLQntCP0
love that part in Rosetta! most tool stuff has really good use of effects, for me it schism or parabola which are my faves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bKy57OeNU8 the start of parabola is awesome! and when its getting real heavy at the end the bass is filth! andy
17. sounds good man! for me the guitar is still a bit loud but that could be the recording. andy
18. just done this little video to show some changes ive done to my board, got some new gear in over the week and finally got a chance before a gig on sunday to work some sounds out! will add a pic later but heres the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGtoQFH1RoY will do a better quality vid when i get the time, but really happy with the new additions a mini mooger drive and bearded lady ashdown fuzz. andy

20. i was lucky really, i found a tech who was willing to share his knowledge with me, its a thing not many do as it will probs lose them your business and others but you really do have to do something very severe to ruin the frets on a new bass/guitar to a point where they need replacing. the best thing to do is if possible take the neck of, then mark all the frets with a black marker, then get a straight edge file and you will see the pen disappear in the places where your high, then use a fret file to recrown the frets on a good file this should only take 7/8 passes again use the black pen to mark the now leveled fret again and crown the frets till this is gone.then a quick polish with wire wool. is important to get the neck straight before this tho as otherwise the frets being level on a bent neck wnt be any good. something very rewarding tho to know you have done the work. andy
21. willing to except offers on this andy
22. maybe give the tc spark a try? clean boost with bass treble and a gain knob to add some grit and push the svt into break up andy
23. If you want your amp but more have you thought or tried a clean boost? I use a earthquaker devices speaker cranked to push and add a bit of hair, well until it sells ;-) ( not a plug but I'm selling it) Andy
