[/quote] the boss tuner has a buffer in it so i would think that wont be necessary, in fact seeing as you have three boss pedals i wouldnt be worried about a buffer. are you supplying the mooer from the supply out of the tu-2? or on the same daisy chain as the rest? andy

also you could try supplying the mooer of the tuner its an isolated supply i think so might help. andy

i have 2 6m 4 way extension reels, a surge protector is always good but these came from tesco and cost about 5 quid, no need to spend crazy money. andy

think i might look at upgrading the wheels or maybe grab a flightcase for it andy

I think if you've got the space, and you drop on one cheap, I think an 8x10 can be useful. They are so out of vogue at the moment they can be bought for next to nothing. The Ampeg I had and the Ashdown I have now are just big chipboard boxes with basic 10's in them but overall they work well, just don't pay too much. A few good ones on here at the mo, the Trace 8x10 (Celestions) and the Marshall VBC 810 too. I think Derek Forbes' old Ampeg was on for sub £500 wasn't it? ok so ive narrowed it down to the 3 that i think i want from the fact that its the classic (and can run as 2 410's) the ampeg, for the same reason the swr the sound is different but from alot of videos id be happy with taking a punt on this cab (again runs as 2 410's if needed) and also the ashdown mag or abm as tried a 410 cab again and its sounded nice so only be better as an 810. im tempted by the mag as i could get one new. andy

actually put music on the right night of the week! so many venues near us will only do music on a wednesday or tuesday, you can get some people there but they arent happy unless the venue is full which mid week it just wont be alot of the time. also covers bands can walk into paid gigs and charge 200 notes or more for a evening, dnt have a problem but then the originals band asks 50 quid and its like were asking way to much! andy

dnt really see what you gain from having the amp on the board still need power to your pedal board and you'll have your speaker cable running across the stage, id rather have a 10m guitar lead and get an extra extension lead andy

ive always found that they go with ampeg stuff really well, my old ad140b sounded awesome through there 810 and 610 cabs.

struggling to find anyone near me with the 810s im interested in trying? local venue has the ampeg, anyone in the south west have a ashdown or swr they let me try?
