ahh yeah so you said, it looks very stealth. Personally i've never really liked black hardware, chrome just looks really clean and crisp to me, but that's just me.

Looking cool Only things i'd change would be the hardware from black to chrome and i'd have used 3 or 5 ply pickguard material. I'd like to hear it when it's finished!

Hi mate, where are you based? I was in Reverb in leicester the other day and they had an epi EB3, a couple of fender precisions and jazzes and what's more, i got good service from them! I basically said, can i try that musicman bongo over there and the guy said to me "sure, take whatever you want off the wall and plug it in!" and just left me to it, i can't remember the last time anyone said that to me. Maybe not as personal as the gallery, but i'd much prefer that to "are you going to buy it now? If the answer is no, then no". They had some very nice basses in there too. I had a bit of a bad experience online with them recently as you know, but that was quite cool.

I don't like the headstocks on stingray fives though, it just looks wrong...

Some people have had push pull knobs fitted... i don't think it's that hard. Other than that and the black knobs (which have never been a factory option ) it's completely stock. And 3 band rays are quite common... If that's what you meant
