1. i find bartolinis to be a bit bland, maybe emgs? Also you know you posted this twice?
2. yeah you'll need adaptors for their power sockets over there
3. ah sorry i must have missed that bit

5. Nah guitar base, it's in west bridgford, near my mum's house. Where is music scene though?
6. I'm pretty sure there's one of the single coil type precisions hanging up in a shop near me, i might go and try it out tomorrow
7.
I've got ruddy jazz guards coming out of my ears, none of them are white though I don't think, just black or tort.
You don't have one cut for a precision pickup do you? I'm having trouble finding a one of them, i might just send mine off to sims customs and get them to make me one.
8. Good score on the strat! And it's always nice when you don't have any GAS, i'm near enough GAS free right now, and it feels good!
9. What do you need a manual for? If it's active as you're sitting with it in your lap, the top most knob will be volume, the left knob will be pickup blend, and the other two will be bass and treble cut/boost, you can of course find this all out by turning them You'll know which is the volume knob by the obvious change in volume, and to find out which is the blend knob turn it one way and tap the pickups with a screwdriver then turn it the other way and tap the same pickup. Then to find out which tone knob is which just turn up the remaining two on full one at a time, and it will become apparent what does what, pretty simple really Hope that helped And welcome to to the forum, those peavey basses are meant to be pretty damn good!
10. Sweet, i like the birdseye top, a lot!!
11. i can't se any shiny patches apart from the camera flash.... i think you're being a little dramatic, i'll bet they're only obvious to you cos it's sat on you... can't provide you with any tips anyway sorry. The satin painted finish on my musicman neck has gone kinda glossy too
12. So that's where my neck came from! you might have been better off keeping it, it seems
13. Aye he probably does, they might like that sort of thing, and thats fine, i personally just don't see the draw to them.
14. damn, not far from me either >_<
15.
anyone who is looking at a Hartke will probably know the spec anyhoo.....
Yeah, that's why i'm surprised people are bidding!
16.
And given that the adjustment cant move then it must be stretching................
He never said he was using one of those straps.... He just said A levys
17. Oooh ooh!!! I need hitch hikers part 1! We have like 2, 3 and 4 but not 1 or 5! You have a PM!
18. buy anything with humbuckers/soapbars and tie a brick to the headstock!
19. looks like it was banged together in a shed Actually it probably was!
20.
Not being funny but you are talking sh*t. If you are saying you need to adjust something like this every two hours?
Levys do more than the one strap But yeah you'll need to be being seriously rough to get it to move in the slightest, if at all.
21. I've changed my mind, i think ebony Pau ferro would go nice with the back though
22. I have an adjustable levys one and it doesn't seem to move at all... mine is 2" but they do 3" ones too
23. Wow, that's a deal and a half, methinks someone could make a hell of a profit on that in a couple of years!
24. The back on that is gorgeous!!!
25. my jazz has pretty light guage strings on it at the moment (not entirely sure what guage because i haven't changed them since i got it) but they make slap very easy and they're pretty easy on the fingers compared to the uber heavy guage i have on my musicman for playing metal.
