BigRedX has a fretless lightwave, from what i saw and heard from the bass bash it's a very nice bass but i'm sure he'll be along any moment to inform you on the finer details

Really nice bloke, did a straight swap for my G&L tribute L-200 for a fender reggie hamilton jazz vias post, was really helpful and kept me informed every step of the way. The bass was a really nice piece of kit and i wouldn't hesitate to trade with him again He even offered me some cash for my equal value bass! Naturally i turned him down, being nice as i am Thanks man

That thumb is SERIOUSLY sweet looking! Also the colour on that lakland is hot

It is a nice bass, if you really want it and can afford it then by all means get it, though you may be paying over the odds for it considering you could get a used, non LE model for about £500 or there abouts. The only thinks that make that a limited edition are the colour and the fact that it says limited edition on the back just under the neck plate. No differences in regards to hardware, pickups, electronics, construction etc. So unless you're THAT in love with the colour, i'd suggest you save your money and buy a used one off either the forum or ebay. Just my 0.02

Here she is, traded for the G&L with deaver, and she's a lovely bass Not got the bite of the G&L but that's what i was after, something a bit softer and different, something i can use for basically anything other than funk/metal not to mention the lovely jazz neck! In 3TS too, never liked that colour before but it does look nice i'm thinking of replacing the scratchplate with a black one though, not a huge fan of tort. For anyone interested, here's the jargon, fender reggie hamilton MIM jazz, 18V preamp with 3 band EQ, american series precision pickup, noiseless jazz pickup and a hipshot detuner as standard and it's been upgraded with a badass II, which i rather like All makss for a very nice bass! pics: sorry about the crappy pictures, i was using my phone, i'll get some better ones up when my dad gives me his camera

Active electronics! you know you want to! OR, switchable active/passive! Also, top wood = flame maple in some kind of trans burst, maybe green, blue, honey sunburst, up to you, i just think they look uber cool and it really suits that guy's dingwall (i can never remember names on this forum!!)

So i got a hipshot detuner, and i'm trying to get it to work, doing the logical thing, tune the e string, flick the lever and tune it to D. That should work right? That should be it? But every time i flick back up to E, the e string has gone out of tune! Argh!!!!!!! I must have spent half an hour trying to do it, and every time i flick back up to E it's out of tune! and it shouldn't be because it just flicks up to the same point, right? Gah! This is really annoying me, someone help me out!

Yeah i think that site (musicmanbass.org) is run by one of the mods on the EBMM forum and uses the photos from the forum too. It's a pretty cool site, and yeah that's the sterling prototype right there.

I hung my MM up on a hercules for ages and it was fine...

Does anybody know if this steaming lark will get some dents/scratches out of my tobias? Only i'm not sure what finish it has, i think it's oiled? I'm pretty sure it's not laquered because the finish is uber thin (you can't REALLY see it) and it's not glossy or anything.
