I purchased Dave's EMG MMCS pickup for a project. It was as new, as described, and his comms were great.
Thanks again for the great pup. Great chap to deal with!
I just bought one of these for my EUB.
I haven't tried it yet but they get good reviews on doublebasschat.com. I figured it was worth a punt at the price.
He shipped it very quickly
You could ask him to measure it properly based on these measurements on Bob Gollihur's website.

If it was built in Czechoslovakia then it could well be a decent bass. The eastern European basses have quite a good rep. NS Design build most of their basses in the Czech Republic. I'd go with the idea of having a luthier look at it.

+1
Google comes up with that being a Chinese bass with an Italian name. It should have some kind of value, depends on the shape e.g. open seams, cracks etc...
Can you find a luthier in your area to have a look at it?
If you're on t'other side of the Pennines, Jan at Chapel Allerton Strings is great.
Mods, maybe you can pin or sticky this in the DB section as double bass reapirs/luthiers?
Best advice is to keep the string grooves lubricated with candle wax or dry soap, and push the top of the bridge back down when you're tuning... It's then that the top of the bridge is pulled toward the fingerboard, and the off-centre pressure from the string tension starts the warp.
The occasional "karate chop" can help combat warpage too.
Where are you based Tom? Yes, bridges will do that. Which way is it bending? My guess may be up?
I think my new bridge cost about £80-100 fitted including the price of the bridge using a good luthier. Alternatively, there is quite a bit on tinterweb about installing a bridge if you feel adventuresome Just make sure if you do this that you keep your sound post from falling, otherwise it gets tricky.
I have a set of Thomastic Superflexibles which came with my laminate DB...These strings are a bit too stiff for piz for my liking but great for arco.
They sort of defy their name really. I nearly sprung for a set thinking they would be easy for pizz which is all I do.
Against my nature of holding on to everything I have a set of Evah weichs about 8-9 months old. Played regularly but not worn out. Sell or swap.
I had Evah Weichs on for a while. The Honey's were lower tension than them on the bass. I'm currently running Velvet Animas which are comparable in tension but louder and clearer throughout the range. Honeys sounded the best on this bass so far though.
Have you thought about the orch Honeys? They have the braided core and are supposed to be more bowable than the jazz Honeys.
The SoundPost is clearing some strings on Ebay, several Innovation sets are going at a great price. There are also some Eurosonics on ebay.
I have Velvet Animas on and they are a lovely string with quite a complex but pleasing tone. Great volume and easy on the hands.
Weedwackers will be low tension but I think you'll lose use of your E string due to the low tension. I could be wrong though as each bass is different
Get your bass to a good luthier for a tune up, string change etc...well worth the money.
