  1. That would have been a P45 for her, straight after that gig.๐Ÿ‘Ž
  2. Recorded by the venue, sound a bit woolly in places. Pro drummer on the kit, anyone recognise him (now without hair) ?
  3. Incorrect quote, not me who said that, nowt wrong with our drummer.
  4. Canโ€™t understand why you are still playing with those guys for just 4 or 5 gigs per year, find yourself another band that will give you more enjoyment.
  5. Guitarist (last night rehearsal) - that songs a bit short, letโ€™s add another guitar solo.
  6. JMB is a directory for them.
  7. Was his name Mickey Mouse ? ๐Ÿ˜€
  8. Right about the YouTube stuff, just out of interest I banged in Wishing Well by Free and some guys on there are playing the main riff in a weird position at the top of the neck with lots of open strings, the correct positioning is around the 5th and 7th frets etc.
  9. This will be the next new one to learn for our set, canโ€™t wait to get cracking on with it.
  10. Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh Johnnie Walker Show currently being hosted by Tom Robinson.
  11. Unfortunately not as a Free tribute, Richard the vocalist left and the band in that format folded. Tried another vocalist after a lot of searching, did a few gigs, but it didnโ€™t work out, Richard was a hard act to follow. Stealer are still going after a bit of a break, with just me as an original member, we are now a Classic Rock and Blues cover band.
  12. Found these vids of us a few years ago, Jeff Rich ex Status Quo on drumming duty.
  13. Pete our dep bass player was depping for me, left his Tag Heuer watch on the window ledge behind his amp, never saw it again. A very costly gig for him.
  14. We are a four piece rock covers band, our fees this year are a minimum of ยฃ240.
  15. At my age, I struggle to stay awake through any film I watch.๐Ÿ˜€
  16. It was previously owned by Seymour Duncan, he sold it to Phil Taylor. Corrected.
  17. Our vocalist/frontman. In a band many years ago at a gig in Downham Market, got lucky with one of the local ladies.
  18. Lots of folks on here are placing Dr Feelgood as punk, they were R&B, as were 9 Below Zero and the Blues Band. British R&B, nothing to do with Punk.
  19. I thought Foxton, The Jam were more retro Mod than Punk.
  20. Looking at this from an entirely bass playing point of view, the Pistols are obviously being mentioned a lot as well as in a really negative light, Led Zeppelin. In terms of contribution to playing ability and quality bass lines itโ€™s a really hard to separate Sid Vicious/ Glen Matlock or John Paul Jones. ๐Ÿ˜œ Just thought I would drop this one in the liven things up ๐Ÿ˜€ No gobbing please ๐Ÿ˜€
  21. Was his name Neddy? ๐Ÿ˜€
  22. A few top guys used to rock up at live pub gigs around our way - Colin Hodgkinson Boz Burrell Don Airey
  23. Found the guitar episode a good watch. They featured quite a few effects pedals/units and how these were used by certain players for their individual sound, one effect that was overlooked and preceded the analogue/digital delays, was the Wem Copycat, really deserved a mention.
  24. Also has a good taste regarding cars.
