  1. You can easily sleep four band members in one of these. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=large+cardboard+box+photo&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari#imgrc=VLfpzJtZNR4SPM:
  2. The gig venues around our way want you to start playing at 9.00 and be finished by 12.00 plus some encores. That is a three hour slot to fill with breaks between sets, 2 x 45’s leaves a massive break between sets, we have opted to always do 2 x 45 and a 50 minute sets with just 15 minute breaks between sets, we would sooner be up playing than sitting on our butts half of the night. Venues definitely get good value when they book our band or maybe we are daft.
  3. Anywhere between 10 and 12 songs. 10 minute version of Stormy Monday personally far too long, but each to their own.
  4. Barry White died years ago.
  5. Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith, starting diff on bass is really tricky, lots of left and right hand technique. Its one you cannot pink torpedo up on a live gig because the bass plays the intro almost alone for quite a bit of time.
  6. The interesting bit is where the guitar riff and bass go out of time with the drums, seen a lot of bands cover the song and put that bit back in time, a lot harder to play it out of time as per recording.
  7. My band would let me know that well before hearing it on the radio 😀
  8. “The Beds Too Big Without You”
  9. Was he wearing the white helmet and racing suit ?
  10. None of those were/are a three piece last time I checked.👁👁
  11. Blimey, a pub gig a 100 miles away, a 200 mile round trip, hope it paid well 💰💰💰 Pubs around our way usually pay between £200 to a max of £300 for bands.
  12. You state the singer always arrives late, not really acceptable, the band should be having a word with her. 😤
  13. Is it Susan Boyle.
  14. Colin definitely did a stint with Whitesnake on a tour, not actually a member of the band as such, hired as a bass player for the tour as I understand. He was also involved in Mick Jaggers solo album. Pretty sure he is now the bassist for Ten Years After.
  15. A question was posed by the original poster, so why bother commenting on this specific post and it’s not your musical genre and you don’t care. 🤔 Blue Planets just started, so I’m outa here.

  17. Allmans etc have always been known as the Southern Rock genre, that goes back as far as the 1970’s, it’s not something new. Most of the acts on the Capricorn record label fell into that genre.
  18. Lewis Hamilton’s ex.
  19. Check out The Voice, Nicole Shirtywoman is turning into a MJ lookalike 😱
  20. Happens far to often, especially when a new owner/manager takes over a venue. 👎
  21. A very large Red Indians home 😀
  22. We as a band have decided not to incorporate any Cyril Smith tunes in our set.
  23. Unfortunately it’s retail in general, music stores included. I and probably a lot of folks on here are all as guilty for purchasing via the internet.
  24. Not sure any of his songs would fit in with our genre and set list, so not something we would need to consider.
