  1. As I say, it’s a big issue. I would send GK an email and complain about it and the reputation polar are giving their brand!!
  2. That’s what you would think Graham, but GK will just refer you to polar audio!
  3. Polar audio are difficult. I was told similar when I tried to order a replacement tweeter for my neo cab. I have a family friend in California, so I just ordered direct from GK and shipped it there, and then got them to forward it on. it is my only gripe with GK. Their stuff is notoriously reliable, but when it goes wrong, dealing with polar is a massive let down. It’s like they don’t carry any stock of critical spares.

  5. Nice one!!!! Desperately want to try one of these!! Good luck with the sale 😄
  6. Isn’t it??? If I was in the market for another euro 4, I’d be quite interested in this!
  7. I think that has to be the best sounding £1 bass of all time. Spewing I was late to the party!!! 😂 she would have fit in well with my other spectors 😉
  8. Mate, I’d love this if no one else is interested!! I had considered doing this myself, so will make a great practice run!! im down in London next week too as luck would have it!!
  9. Such a nice looking bass this one! Can’t believe it’s still here!
  10. Hi all, I have a black rat 4u rack unit taking up space in the garage that I no longer use. For full disclosure, one of the catches isn’t 100%, as the handle part comes off occasionally, hence the low price. Other than that all works fine
  11. Hi all, I have a moth pitch black rack tuner I would like to move on as it is just not being used. I will add a photo tomorrow night as am away for back holiday. £40
  12. This really is an nice bass David, shame nobody thinks enough to take a punt on it. I have been playing my crfm a lot this week, and it is simply amazing. Someone needs to grab this!!
  13. I would be inclined to agree!! I never noticed the q5 had the slimmer top horn like the ns2000/5. As mentioned, this is NOT and ns2000/5 as they are through neck. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Theo!
  14. We have just wound up our band “smells like Seattle” doing a grunge “tribute”. Some amazing songs to go at there mate!
  15. Bloody spewing I missed it. Will have to wait a year for it to come on sale again now!!!
  16. I have he odd night where I don’t set a foot wrong, but they are the minority. Most of my gigs, there would be the odd bit here or there. Very occasional, I would have a bit of a blinder, but I have never had to stop a song (luckily!!). I think you need to play as a band an awful lot to avoid this (a few nights a week). I fall into the category of “remember all the notes in a song” type of player, which plays into the hands of disaster if you forget. I want to learn to be a player who always knows what key/chord progression a song is. It won’t guarantee against disaster, but should always keep you close enough to be out of trouble!!
  17. Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone signed up for the Ed Friedland walking bass lines course via Scott’s bass lessons? i messed about with it too long and missed out, just wondering if anyone has had a look at it yet?
  18. Let me know if you decide to sell again!
  19. Thank god for that!! I was beginning to think it was just me 😂
  20. Really?? 215’s???? i have a set and find them fine for vocals but they become overloaded with bass frequency very easily!!! Any time I have tried to run them with bass through they just distort!
  21. Absolutely. In my experience, if you want to attend a jam night, it is really a two step process. 1. Go, introduce yourself and ask for a list of half a dozen songs they play regularly, and go away and do your homework. 2. Go, say remember me? Can I get up and play one or two? I learned all the songs in your list, so happy to step in on any of them. Once you have proven yourself capable, you should then be able to attend more regularly and get more opportunity ultimately, I was running a jam night, I would be hesitant to just let someone unknown get up and have a bash when I know I have a room full of regulars who can help me entertain the punters!!
