1. A chap from Gumtree is coming to pick it up in an hour, or so he says. I'll update accordingly.
2. If any electronic drummers you know need a new frame or to extend theirs, or they need some new bits, or something, then here is an Alesis frame for them. Forgive the wonkiness. It all straightens up. This is an Alesis frame but you could attach any drums to it -- I have Alesis drums on a Yamaha frame, for example. They're all fairly standard. Collection from Penge, SE London. Will post to the UK for a tenner or something like that.
3. Still has the protective film on the pickguard. Collection from Penge, SE London.
4. In great condition. Comes with original power supply. No box. Instructions available online. You can record on it. The tunes are quite good for practising along to, and you can do your own arrangements and do, er, all sorts of other things that a box like this does. I think. Collection from Penge in SE London. UK postage will be, well, I don't know, a fiver.
5. This thing is, well, you can see. The jack is missing a nut, the wiring seems okay but I really don't know. There's the crack you can see from some nasty knock it's received. If no one wants it, it gets left in the street for someone else to pick up. I got it when buying a synth from some guy who picked it up from a house clearance. I have no need for it and don't want it. Take it away from me. Please. Collection only from Penge in SE London.
6. That looks good. How long did you bathe it for?
7. Any tips for getting rust off pickguard and pickup screws, using general household products? I don't mind them still looking fairly relic'ed afterwards (in fact that would be ideal), but I want to get most of the crusty rusty crap off. Answers on an oxidised piece of scrap metal please.
8. I bought a thing off this guy and it turned up the next day and it's really good and he seems really nice and now I have a new thing. It goes sort of oooohhuuaaaaaawwooooooohhuuaaawoooooooohhh, and so on, over and over, at different speeds. However, if you buy anything from him, it might not do the same thing, so be sure to check first.

The Palace by the parish church is nice in the summer, and you can spill over to The Wardrobe later if things carry on.
10. What sort of dreadful people are these who expect the ladies to be formally attired in cocktail dresses but require nothing more than casual wear for the chaps. I would suggest doing the decent thing and wearing a proper suit.

12. Yeah, scales aren't that hard to grasp are they? 1. There are 12 notes: C C# D D# E F F# G G# A A# B, all equally spaced apart (a semitone) in terms of pitch. You can play them higher and lower, but it's still the same set of notes (think about the repeating pattern of white and black keys on a piano). 2. Removing some of those notes results, for certain reasons, in a series of pitches that work well together. All Western music is based on this concept. 3. Learn how those scales fall on your fretboard. It will really help with everything else you do. That's about it for starters isn't it.
13. Right well I've memorised the letters from A to G and have learnt the numbers up to 13 but not including 8, 10 and 12. How am I doing?
14.
It's as simple as the alphabet up to G and the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 11 and 13
Why are 8, 10 and 12 missing?
15. And I'll repeat my offer of trading my black pickguard (protective film still on it) for whatever anyone else has that isn't black. They're an every so slightly non-standard shape so best to swap like for like.
16. Do you have a photo or model number?
17. This thread's all right but it's not as good as other threads on the subject, which are loads better.
18. I have a red one, black guard, with a maple board, and it's very nice indeed. They're plywood bodies, but, y'know, so what. Actually if anybody wants to swap my black pick guard for their white one, that would be great. It's still got the protective film on it.
19. Never mind the bull fiddle, can you actually get any drugs from your bass teacher???
20.
it's been fortified with iron
So it's good for metal then.
21.
There is no excuse to post that....
B-b-but it's great. It's even got a flippin' bass in it.. Have you seen their Shaft? https://www.youtube....h?v=NlMT-oEIQuo Or Teenage Dirtbag https://www.youtube....h?v=Fw8ZDwdyHJQ What's not to like.
