1.
I'm only semi-breve and tend to quaver in my boots.
I always have the urge to take the pizzicato out of you for that 5 pages, it's all mambo jambo. I've been to the bar.. dodgy as anyone, someone pinched my harmonics
2. I reckon I'd give it a good shot. I think it would be 90% focus 9% arrogance 1% stupidity
3. I have to admit it was a leap of faith to order my Super Twin.... And I am longingly awaiting its arrival. The science behind them is fascinating, but I was very much in a cavewoman type logic of "Me want noisy, Me beat guitarist" I have been repeatedly assured that I will not be disappointed.... I can't wait to confirm of deny this!
4. I have a SuperTwin on order and I can't wait
5. Maybe my being in South Wales is putting people off? I am prepared to meet half way though.
6.
That was before false and true harmonic torture :-D
Well I'm doing pinched harmonics like a good 'un now
7. Careful now Prime Bass you nearly had a stampede of your hands Great offer for people interested in trying the cab though
8. You can tell your girlfriend that she is indeed very beautiful. She really is However, speaking as a heterosexual, female bassist.... I'm more interested in the cab
9.
There's a cab?
And a footstool and a sofa and a bass.... Keep up
10.
What footstool? What sofa?
Exactly I'm surprised you even noticed the cab
11. Surely I can't be the only one who's wondering why the footstool is on the sofa? or can I Photo has a "FHM advert" feel to it, disappointed that there were less close ups on the cab..... Ah well I'll post pretty pictures of my super Twin when it comes, maybe with my hubby sat on it holding a bass....... There again
12.
I like that idea! Instead of paying a courier, we could have a relay chain of Basschatters ferrying stuff across the country for petrol money as they go off on their travels! It could work.... The musical instrument's equivalent of hitch-hiking perhaps?
We do this in the chicken world, to ensure we can safely transport hens.... You can't send live chickens by couriers We call it a chickens train and it works really well. I've been part of several chicken trains over the years!
13. Thanks for the kind comments guys!
14.
Looking forward to hearing you in East Yorkshire.
I hope you do, you probably already hear my guitarist
15.
I'm using it to drive a Barefaced Super 12T.
I'm just "upgrading" to a 800W Mark bass (little Mark though, not valve) with a Barefaced Super Twin..... so reading that you are too loud even on one fills me with immense happiness
16.
Just pi$$es me off a tiny little bit when every thread mentioning BF cabs in any way turns into a Fanclub Lovefest Event about how awesome they are and how dare anyone criticise them.
I'm looking forward to joining that party once mine is made
17. I live in South Wales and am coming to Manchester on the 31st, if you wanted one, I'd happily collect as long as you'd collect it from me from Manchester at a time that suited me (have a few things on, so my time windows will be small). Just a thought? PM me if I can help.
18. Love the photo
19. Hard choice, very hard, but the one that "moved" me the most, and for that picture I felt I needed to be moved, was Bilbo's. Stunning cello and captured some beautiful Arabic themes. Very hard choice though as Skols was magnificently crafted and produced as always and great to hear a 'happy' entry. But Bilbo took the edge for me this month, stunning in its simplicity (although yet highly skilled).
20. Monday bump!
21. 39 and female.... A fail on 2 counts
22. Now sold.
23. It was John Taylor and Duran Duran that really got me loving basslines.... But then I found myself listening to and loving more basslines so now I have very many more influences.
24. Why couldn't it be just a week later? On the 9th i'm staying in a hotel in London within spitting distance of Denmark street!!
25. The 115/210. What is the ohm on it too?
