A little bit of info, if your routing isnt deep enough for the long pole piece studs these use, just hacksaw the bottom off till theyre flush with the magnets, it makes no difference to the tone or output, ive done it.

I got a couple of cheap ones from China `Eno` or something that work better with my low B than my korg pedal!

Ive worked on a defretted block and bound neck and it was quite acceptable.

Nice..I do like the ATK`s I picked up a mint ATK200 for a mere 120 notes a month ago, its the one with the triple pickup and Ive got so say its one of the most versitile basses Ive got, Ive strung mine with Fender flats basically cos I like the strings, heaviest bass Ive got though but theyre a very underrated bass.

Ok so I hit the big 5-0 in September and ive decided to celebrate the occasion with a custom build ( a year of birth bass is a bit limited and expensive) been chatting to Chris about it for a while and late last year I finally pulled the trigger, so far the spec is swamp ash back with a buckeye burl top, single Nordstrand Bigman pickup with 3 band active eq, 4 string, 24 fret maple/maple neck and hipshot hardware. I chose the top wood and this is it. Cant believe Im looking forward to being 50 so much! sorry but there wasnt a Lemmy thread or a Jimmy Bain or a Chris Squire thread maybe its just me then that doesnt see the need to all of a sudden gush all over a tragic death?

It was basically a clear coat over the maple, I got it off ebay, had all the correct mighty mite stamps on it.

Nope not got one, not a fan and cant remember a similar thread for others that have sadly passed away, so why him?
