1. Hi Everyone Welcome to the new year!!!!! as a result of too much spending and various things popping up demanding that i throw coloured notes at them, i am putting up for sale my fairly recently aquired USA fretless fender jazz, i did buy this very much on impulse from the very excellent "essential tension" about 6 months ago and i must admit ive barely used it, and try as i might i think that fretless isnt my thing. It has a gorgeous three tone sunburst alder body and a very nice lined fingerboard (with no string scarring at all, it had flats on it for a long time) it has through stringing and a graphite reinforced maple neck (c shape with a small hint of flame), the build quality on this is fantastic a very solid workhorse, has a very warm sound even with roundwounds and sings lovely. its actually in fantastic condition apart from two scratches on the to[p horn which are only noticable close up Unfortunately i dont have a hardcase for this anymore, but it will ship very well packed in a warwick premium gigbag, id be looking for £525 (incl delivery) or £500 if you want to pick it up from bolton (near manchester) Thanks guys and gals - lee Ps - i did originally intend to trade this, if you have a fender marcus miller, or a musicman stingray and fancy a trade, let me know and ill have a wrestle with my head and heart ITS SOLD, THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!!

 6. Hi there Never owned the TRB series myself, but i did have a nathan east model for a while, which had the same electronics as the TRB1(and probably the same as your BB ) the circuit in that had a preset mid control offering two diffrent settings that were fully adjusable from trimpots in the control cavity, it was my first active bass at the time so didnt really use the feature properly, i remember thinking at the time it looked better than it sounded (a lovely aqua quilt ) but was probably pilot error on my part, as far as i know the TRB2 had a standard mid cut and boost, but i think you could still change the frequency ,also that is when they went to 35" scale, if im wrong im sure someone will let me know hope this helps the original ones were amazing basses, and ive heard many players get amazing sounds out of them - all the best - lee PS - the neck through ones were known as TRBP as they have a piezo as well as the magnetic pickups!!
 7. Thats a beauty reminds me of my old sterling, but a bit darker burst, and mine had a maple board, really wish i hadnt traded it good luck with the sale - lee

Its curently suffering with a little bit of fret buzz on the low E but other than that she is a beauty
A bit off topic and i apologise, but yours is the best avatar ive ever seen!!! just brilliant, beautiful basses by the way, especially the jazz - lee
 13. I did read once that verdines early recordings he used an old 50,s precision with flats, ive a great early concert on DVD where he,s using a white late 60,s/early 70,s jazz (block markers) with what look like dimarzios in and it sounds great - lee
 14.
Ahh excellent stuff! yeah that will look dead smart, the guy i gave mine to also has a White Jazz that he's putting the White Covers on! it'll look ace! Post some pics up when you've done it mate.
Hi ben, will hopefully stick them on in the next day or so, my jazz is very off white, so i think the cream ones would be cool a bit like verdine whites, will see what the white one,s look like, just as nice, i am thinking of putting my front pickup cover back on as well, im always taling it on and off as the mood takes me - lee

 17. yeah it was a bit on the loud side, oh and sorry i did indulge in a bit of slapping in E but idid do some slapping in G too!!! i couldnt help it when bernie turned on that treble switch, i did play some fingerstyle funk and some jazzy noodling blown away by the GB,s i did have a play on the enfields too very nice indeed, great pickup and i think a nod to the future, had a good long chat at that booth and was very impressed ( oh and played the bass that was reviewed in Bass guitar that was also used by Hugh macdonald on x factor). Was very nice to talk to john east who,s a lovely man, lots of nice people all round really, but yes REALLY LOUD!!!!!!

 20. I was there, Had an amazing time, and spent most of it on the GB stall being extremely blown away, bernie and the lads were really friendly and are HUGELY passionate about their basses quite right too, im in love with the rumour 5 and am saving my pennies from now i will have one, also had a lovely chat with our very own funkydario, on the Bacchus stand, lovley guy, we had a laugh when a young lady asked my mate to turn down and he was the quietest player in the room by far im also very enamoured by Yolanda charles who is an incredible groovemeister and a bit gorgeous too , ive probably walked past a dozen basschatters, we should have worn T shirts!!! was keeping an eye out for Ped but didnt see him, had a good chat with Pete (thunderthumbs) though. All in all a hugely enjoyable day, i had to leave early though so missed Nathan east, but i,ll bet he was amazing, hope you all had good one and im currently trying to raise funds to have a 5 string rumour made- cheers everyone - lee

 24. Hi everyone cleaning out, i have a behringer vintage phaser, which is basically a copy of the EHX small stone, has the olour conrol and a range knob to go from suble phasing to warbltastic, bought this ages ago when i was going through a massive Anthony jakson phase (no pun) but didnt sound owt like him at all really so stuck it in my stuff case, had it in my pedal board for bit but never used it, and never got around to buying the EHX version either, anyway AJ on a budget £15 incl postage - lee
