It can be tough to get used to on the first few listens but if you've got the tempos right then it should be easy enough to play along with once you get used to it! If you want an example of tempo changes within songs, listen to any Mastodon song ever! Paul

There are loads of similar threads to this one, you should do a search for some of them. And there are loads of pedal demonstrations on youtube to get a good idea of the sound before you splash out on something based on a recommendation. The worst amp I've ever had to use was an old Trace Elliot 4x10 combo which was the house amp at a venue I played. I'm not a fan of Trace stuff at the best of times but this thing was the most pokey, farty thing I've ever heard in my life. Truly awful! The worst part is that people still regularly use it at that venue! Paul

I quite like it too. Never rated Newsted as a vocalist and still don't after that but he was always my favourite Metallica bassist.
