1. I ordered the 500W version as soon as I saw the news. Will replace my OTB 1000 which really isn't that road worthy, nice with the rack format on the OB1. Finally no more class D
2. Electrical Guitar Company, anyone? Some day they will build me my dream bass... http://www.electricalguitarcompany.com http://youtu.be/Wrlg-kJ7Ssc
3. Nice set up! Will serve you well I bet
4. I put my money on a Wren & Cuff Phat Phuk B. It fits right into your description! Used it for quite some time now and it's always on. Makes everything sound better imo
5.
Niiice - welcome to the club. Nothing wrong with MIMs or Squires, MIAs are just different.
Spot on! I still use my Squier Classic Vibe Jazz all the time. Still take it to gigs as a backup! Thanks guys!
6. After almost 8 years of playing bass I finally got myself a classic American Jazz bass. I've had a lot of different Fender and Squier basses through the years, including CIJs and MIMs, but never a US made one. I've always been a black'n'maple kind of guy but couldn't resist this one when I saw it. The original tort pick guard is probably being fitted again, though I have to say it doesn't look that bad with the 3-ply black guard! This bass is almost like new, the case still smells like new too! It has been fitted with the lovely Custom Shop 60's pickups from Fender which I love! The finish and neck on these basses are so smooth I couldn't believe it. Guess I've been living in deny all these years thinking that MIMs are as nice as the MIAs... Anyway, some pics!
7. I'm also curious, I actually had one on pre-order from a Swedish dealer but they cancelled it a couple months ago. Not 100% sure why but their explanation was that a supplier to Orange had failed to deliver parts that were up to spec for the OB1-K. I wouldn't say that's reason enough, though.
8. That's a good looking bass right there.
9. Great cabs. I have a 212 and a 215, the later one with a tweeter. I think my 215 weighs about 23 kg, they are however going out of production as far as I know. I used to test some prototypes for Tommy since we're based in the same area of Sweden, he's just the best guy ever

Hello

Hi! I've been browsing these forums for a while now but never got to the point of signing up... until now. I'm from Sweden, 24 years of age, been playing since 2007 or something like that. Keeping the low end in a stoner rock act called 'Skraeckoedlan' (that's one to pronounce for ya), with lyrics all in Swedish. I love vinyl records, gadgets, cars and old technology. I'm currently playing a Sandberg Electra TT4, Squier CV Jazz and Epiphone Explorer through a Aguilar DB750 head and a TKS (www.tks.se) 215 cabinet. Just acquired a long sought after Boss FZ-3 that I've always wanted. Blend it with some clean and you've got one helluva sound... Well that's atleast something to read, now I'm heading for the trade section... might get myself a Big Muff or something... Peace!
