    I'm not normally a fan of black basses but this looks the part. Does this have the 38mm wide neck at the nut?

    I really wanted one of these but I got so sick of waiting for them to come into stock last year at Andertons that I gave up and bought a squire FSR instead.

    Videos on YouTube saying how these amps are not underpowered if they are set up correctly so if that's putting anyone off then they might be worth a look to put your mind at ease. Seems like a decent price to me. GLWTS.

    Yeah I did think about that or maybe finding someone else with a fender jazz rosewood board to do a swap with.

    I'm currently looking to buy one of the current range of Fender Jazz basses but I'm struggling to find one in my ideal colour i.e. vintage natural/tort pickguard and rosewood board. The nearest colour that I can find is the FSR player or an American pro but they both have maple boards. I even considered the PJ Mustang bass to get the right colour combination but it's short scale and the body is just too small. Looks like I might have to compromise on the FSR jazz but with a maple board or just look at a different colour completely(Firemist gold). It such a shame that fender have overlooked this colour combination as I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Maybe someone can tell me that I've got it wrong...

    Bought a TC BH550 head from Soledad. Great communications, very reasonable postage cost and the amp arrived very well wrapped the day after he sent it! 5* transaction, deal with confidence.

    Stand well back when you play anything through that Trace Elliot Head and the 6x10 cab! GLWTS.

    These amps work really well with 4x10 cabs. Used one at an outdoor festival recently and all the bass players were singing it's praises after using it. Loads of mid range punch!

    Does anyone know when the Sire P5 range is due to be released in the UK? I see on Anderton's website that you can order but there are no dates yet for their arrival. They look great and so hard to choose between the colours...
