Shame about the distance, I have a Stirling SB14 that I could trade.

4.5kg on the bathroom and luggage scales which is putting a few people off but it feels really nicely balanced to me and I regularly switch between it and a Mustang short scale and the difference isn't horrendous.

Sterling by Musicman SB14 3 band EQ, 3 way selector switch, hum cancelling phantom coil, nice slim satin finished neck, basswood body. 4.5kg on the bathroom and luggage scales. Ashdown ABM 500 watt EVO 111 bass head. The usual ashdown bells and whistles, i.e. valve preamp/drive, solid-state power amp, compressor, octaver, flat/shape button, footswitch out, effects send return, tuner out etc. I bought this fairly recently but I was originally looking for a 2x10 combo and now that I've used it at half a dozen gigs, I'm thinking that I'd prefer a 2x10 combo after all. Collection from Whitley Bay or a possible meet up within a reasonable distance.

Sorry to hijack this post but the ABM head and your 1x15 cab sounded great. Good advert for ashdown though and I imagine this combo will sound every bit as good.

I've just bought an ABM 500 head and 1x15 cab but would have preferred this. Bad timing. 😭

I would have loved this if I'd not recently bought the America performer version. Mine is lovely but I do struggle resting my thumb on the smaller Precision pickup and prefer the full size pickup on this version.

I don't have any packaging big enough but could arrange a meet up at Dalton Park if that's any good?

These are great basses. I had the same model in a different colour, sold it and wished that I hadn't. GLWTS

Fender American Performer Mustang Bass in Satin Surf Green. I love this bass and it has a lovely playable satin neck that I'll really miss, but I bought with my heart rather than with my head and it doesn't really suit the classic rock cover band that I play in and it's not getting used as it should be. It has a small ding on the top edge as you look down at the bass. It really does look worse on the photo than in real life(damn those highly accurate mobile phone cameras on portrait mode)! The colours in the photos vary from what looks like daphne blue to surf green but it is definitely surf green as shown in the last photo. I bought this new from PMT Newcastle in June this year(2023). Includes padded Fender gig bag. Ideally I'd like to hand this over in person but I do have an old hard case and a carboard shipping box if you'd like to arrange your own courier.
