That's a very perceptive point you have there... that just about cuts to the nub of it.
Hmm not 100% true, I take my Pedulla Fretless to every practice, every gig. I will also take the Fretted one to everything as well. Some people even at the grassroots level like playing them all the time as well! Sure i could play a mexi Fender at the gig no problems. But.... well i prefer my Pedulla As long as i have the money to keep it from falling apart i'll keep using it. EG: The fretted that is arriving is well used. My theory is, if a custom made bass has been well used, it means that it must of been one damn good bass to play to wear it down so much!

I used to love Mid priced gear, never thought as to why anyone would pay for a custom instrument. Then i tried a Pedulla.....

Back up for sale again, the last of my guitars Really nice dark sparkle green Jackson, made in Japan with an awesome floyd rose that keeps in tune even at its current tuning of B/baritone. The Emgs really scream out of this. Sounds better then the Zakk Wylde set i had on my old RR5 model. This guitar is reasonably middleweight, best of all is that the guitar comes with a Gig bag thats specifically made for the warrior, Its a well padded expensive Ritter one. Only a few minor scratches, none of them are through to the wood and none of them on the front of the guitar, has only been lightly used. The camera could not pick up the scratches. Anyway. £300 FIRM, picked up from Bristol. Postage may be considered but only as an absoloute last option. I WILL consider trades for fender/copy basses, or nice bass cabs. EDIT: Yes it comes WITH a trem arm.
Good luck with the Ped, i hear they make some nice basses :-). Im not sure when the bash is but i doubt i'll be going as im gigging every weekend until Jan 2010. Shame as ive made quite a few on line friends over the past year or so.
Well it is during the morning/afternoon Plenty of time to get back your gig aye? My fretless is the most well constructed bass i have ever played. I am so happy i aquired it.

Lucky sods! I have just started my bass wait. Bought the beat up black Pedulla MVP5 from Nobodys_Prefect. Lets hope it gets here from Finland by Friday (Fat chance) Then i'll be sending it off to some local firm to refurbish it.... Another long wait

Thank you very much for your opinions, it was enlightening! However i decided to go for the knackered Pedulla MVP5 fretted to go with my other Pedulla fretless. I loves em to bits Dave if your coming to the SE bass bash i would love to try it out! May have some more money then! Cheers. Rob.
I have an 83 Precision which is a tremendous bass. Fullerton made. Lighter weight after the heavy late seventies. What more could a precision fan want? At £650 this is a great bargain for somebody. All the best with the sale.
Pity it aint the tobacco burst double white P, gold hardwared funkmeister version

Hey guys. I am looking to get a set of flightcases made up for my Pedulla..... and maybe another Pedulla (More on that at somepoint). Basically, i am looking for something far stronger then a traditional hardcase, But just as light (If it exists) I'll be putting the Pedulla through the airport soon. What sort of cost is involved and what UK based manufacturers would you recomment? Cheers! Rob.
Gone for a Nordstrand NP5 from Best bass gear in the USA.
Good choice mate. Should stay faithful to the P tone. If its anything like the Musicman replacement i had!

Hey guys. I am currently looking at a Fender American P5 with maple fingerboard bass. Anyone have any personal experience with one? What sort of weight do they usually come out at? I have heard Ed friedlands youtube video and i am still not quite convinced about the Low B on the thing. I dont mind if its not particularly taught, as i prefer low tension. I would like the traditional P tone in a 5 string. And the looks tick all the right boxes. However it is a brand new bass, and there is a Pedulla Rapture on ebay that could go quite cheap that i am interested in. Just a bit undecided! Rob.
