Well i am getting a good trade deal on it, i'll try it tonight and if not i'll probably just sell it. How much should i be asking?
-
Its not so much what the bass is up for sale for. Generally the reason they are for sale is because people wont buy it for the price displayed. Its only worth as much as people are willing to pay for it. You want to look at Affirmas that have sold and take an average price from that. In this case i reckon £600 but thats my own guess.

I could of swore i saw one about 12 months...but i just can't recall where it was! Thank you very glad...
The new Classic series is the one your on about, otherwise the SUB5's
Not sure on value thesedays but it is just a single preamp valve and I think you'd probably not enjoy it vs the Ampeg (if you like the Ampeg sound, that is.) It's amazingly versatile but still doens't do the big all valve preamp thing...
I love the ampeg for Fingerstyle and pickstyle. But slap is a little lacking, which is what i am hoping the trace will do!

Hey guys. Looks like i am aquiring this in a trade deal, honestly i am unsure if it will take the place of my Ampeg, But i was wondering what other peoples opinions are of this unit? Hows the valve sound? Is it just a single pre-amp valve? Also how much are they worth if i put her on the BC marketplace? Rob.

You know you want to.... ;-) You had my MM Sub from me ages ago - would seem appropriate to have the 'Ray, too
That Sub was pretty damn good, i was a fool to sell it. I think i was your first transaction on here! Not enough moneys

Hey guys! Theres something i want and i need the money for it ASAP! The photos arent great but will do for now! Description Here we have a Unbranded bass, You may have seen these milling about on ebay. Specification This example is Metallic Gold, Chrome hardware, Real wood body (Not sure which real wood, but its not ply!) Vintage Maple/Maple tinted Neck with Skunk Stripe. Mint white Scratchplate. This bass also includes Seymour Duncan Quarter pounder pickups which i have just installed. Imagine if you put some gold hardware on this beast! Functionality The electronics, Jack socket and truss rod has no issues whatsoever and are fully functional. The neck is straight as an arrow. Playability The bass has just been setup, the neck has been shifted around to provide maximum pickup coverage, there used to be a wolf note but since the setup that has been eradicated, the action is low/medium. Strings are pretty new, I enjoy playing this one I honestly i preffered this one to the Fender japan one i recently sold. Sounds Real RAWK and Funk sounds, really trebely when needed for the Iron Maiden moments, Turn down the tone and its real smooth and dark. Condition 99.9% overall condition, nothing of note. Maybe a few cat hairs on it! Price/Trades The price is £125 FIRM No trades Payment method Paypal, Cash or Bank transfer. Would prefer Paypal due to the urgency! Delivery I can offer postal delivery of the bass as long as the cost is met by the buyer, the bass will be sent the day after payment is received. I can offer a hand delivered service to your nearest major train station for the same price as postage would have cost, however this offer is only available to people willing to meet within 200 miles of Bristol. You can also pick up the bass locally in Bristol. Where you can try it out through my Ampeg rig. Other information If you require any other information or specific photos of the bass, please let me know either by PM or my E-mail address , My number is also available for serious buyers.
