Hey guys. Up for sale is a Cort TM stevens signature Funkmachine II bass. I only just got this in the past few days off of ebay for a damn good price, but looking to move on. The barts sound damn awesome, nice and burpy and the funk wah just adds to the bling. This comes with Bartolini MK1 pickups and MK2 pre-amp. (Soapbars) Heres me playing Slaves just a touch of love on it! It was going through the cameras mic, But hear through the crappiness of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMxD8HDNSnA The bridge pickup was solo here. And i have now recorded Minor Threats, Minor Threat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xweJDYXuAz8 Both pickups were on full there. sorry for the obvious mistake! And finally Thin Lizzies Angel of Death! Both pickups on Full, EQ Flat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_qAK8FG1NQ The bass has a slap switch and a bass synth Funk wah effect. Both are fully adjustable via controls on the back. This is the older TM stevens version of the bass, with the hardcore 2 tek style bridge. heres the official specs. Actually i am 99% sure that on the recordings he uses a pick and not fingers. But live and all videos he uses fingers.
kev, you are a burke. you said that he'll sell it, then you try to talk him down, you crazy. Shockwave, DON'T SELL THIS BASS, YOU WILL BE SORRY.
Haha. Unfortunatly, Certain circumstances force sell. It's a lovely bass and the best i have ever owned. 1) I have bills to pay. 2) I have far too many P equipped basses! 3) I have gas for a musicman or Fender P deluxe 5 string. 4) I am converted to 5 strings, I'll keep a 4 banger around to have a bash, but this is far too good to have lying around! Besides, I know in my heart i will get another BCR custom shop sometime very soon in fact. But one built for me to my specs In the meantime, this bass is up for grabs! Seriously folks this is a serious bass for serious musicians. I mean 2 P pickups what more do you want?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...sid=p2759.l1259 Did i do good? What experiences have you guys had with these basses? I am looking for a musicmanish aggressive fingerstyle tone. Cheers! Rob.

Ok well the amp has arrived and it seems like Interparcel nearly destroyed it. One of the Rack ears are bent completely out whack and one of the power amps is screwed, its being repaired right now, Appears to be an open circuit, It doesant seem like one of the MOSFETS are dead which is damn good because MOSFETS are no longer sold new! Some of the resistors are giving me funny numbers. Plus the amp was horrible to get into, The screws are in all the wrong places if you know what i mean. Anyway, if i get the amp working, i have decided to just use my 8 OHM cabs for now and not rush into getting 4's The cabs will still run at about 160 watts each, Which considering each power amp runs at 200 anyway is not bad. The sound is earsplitting halfway up anyway! Rob.
