1. Hey guys. Many of you may wonder why i am selling alot of my BCR collection. Well BCR released a new handcrafted website recently. I want something like these They have really sorted themselves out with a decent handcrafted site. Possibly going to order something along the lines of a KOA Ironbird or wave bass. Maybe an Eagle. To go with mine thats currently on the BCR Handcrafted owners page here http://www.bcrich.com/handcrafted/hand.php?sct=owners I am the 4th one along. And last but by no means least. Gorgeous. Rob.
2. Hipshot ultralites. Otherwise, a really grippy strap. and Velcro.
3. It probably doesant neck dive as bad as my ironbirds. This is what i did. You dont need to drill any extra holes, all you need is one extra long and thin screw. Its cured the problem. Does not get in the way of fret access. And it doesant look weird.

13. Hey guys. I am a big fan of speed slappers like Mark King. He uses a metal ring on his thumb to get a more percussive tone out of his slapping. I decided to convert a metal thumb plectrum to become a slapring. I started using it and i loved it! The best thing about it is that slapping on the A string is far far more defined then if i used my bare thumb. Its louder and sits in the mix better. Does anyone else here use Slap rings and would you fork out money for a decent one? I was thinking of getting a gerald reece one from here. http://www.slapring.de/en/productinfo/slapring/index.php Have they been a gimmick to you or an invaluable tool? Cheers! Rob. Edit: Its also handy for fingerstyle only users such as myself to get a nice near plectrum like tone. I may be using this technique in my goth rock band.
14. My fiance hates any of my basses thats sunburst. But i love sunburst. Otherwise she doesant really get bass, She knows its important to the song but cant really stand to hear it on its own without a band. Or maybe its because i cant play!
15. 5 String Neck thru Mockingbird bass
16. Rog, She should buy my red ironbird ;-) Its sparkly and girly.
17. I personally can really easily tell the difference between maple and rosewood, and rosewood and ebony, But telling the difference between Ebony and maple is near impossible!
18. Love your back garden ;0(
19. Hmm, I have a good idea what i would like electronics wise but body shape i have no idea. If i was playing rock or simple stuff i would have a 5 string Ironbird bass, Otherwise it would be a 5 string Wave bass.
