4. Hey guys. Clearing out the last of the BCR collection. I really dont want to sell this bass as it has been long time the GOTO bass in my collection. It has a slim jazz bass style neck. Its an NJ series. A number of chips and dings around the edge of the body but the front of the bass looks awesome, Its a sorta luminous pink finish. Gotoh Dimarzio copy P pickup, Really solid bridge and tuners. I am not kidding this thing sounds frikken awesome. Like a P should sound like but with more treble and mid Bite. I have used this bass for Funk and Metal. Doesant sound a bit out of place. I should also say this thing is VERY light. You can swing it around no problem. For a nice Japanese made bass it's only £120 picked up in Bristol or £140 shipped.

Hey guys. Need to clear out the last of the collection, Note the light markings below the G string, this is the only marks on the bass, Otherwise its perfect. Its a neck-thru, Has a bit of weight to it. 35" scale length, All original active electronics, Has dunlop straplocks. Really growls with the dual P configuration. Its a quilt top black smoky finish that looks lovely. REALLY low action, and i mean LOW, Never seen something this low on any 5 string. Ebony fingerboard, Mahagony body and neck. No case. As for trades and part ex's, I am looking for anything fretless, 4/5 string jazz's/P's, Effects pedals, Possibly a Modern Bi-Amp head. (With funky modern tone) Might possibly consider a part ex and a cheap G*****r something with a fixed bridge Maybe a telecaster? Cheers! Rob.
6. And for my final video today, Heres the bass parts for Thin Lizzies Angel of death, A very very underrated songs from the legends themselves. It's also very deceptive. Technically the song is very easy, But getting the rythm correct is very hard. Its triplets mostly but when there are drum breaks in the main A triplet line, You have to follow the drummer. So you can get cocky playing it and then you muck up the timing or a specific part. All the parts should be shown here. Played with the Cort FunkMachine II and Marshall 3540 amp. 7. Thanks for the replies guys Somehow i am having a very productive day today!
8. Hey guys. My second video with the Cort Funkmachine II with both pickups on. Playing Minor Threats Minor Threat. I learnt the song a few minutes before recording, I think i did ok apart from one obvious mistake. I am a bit new to this recording lark. What do you reckon ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xweJDYXuAz8 Rob.
9. Heres me playing Slaves just a touch of love on it! It was going through the cameras mic, But hear through the crappiness of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMxD8HDNSnA The bridge pickup was solo here. And i have now recorded Minor Threats, Minor Threat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xweJDYXuAz8 Both pickups were on full there. sorry for the obvious mistake! And finally Thin Lizzies Angel of Death! Both pickups on Full, EQ Flat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_qAK8FG1NQ
10. Hey guys. Just thought i would post a video i just shot playing Slave's just a touch of love, Really simple funk line, Groovy as hell. I used a cort funkmachine II bass (thats for sale) Bartolini pickups and a marshall 3540 mosfet amp. Recorded straight through the cameras internal so not the best sound but definatly hearable! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMxD8HDNSnA Let me know what you think! Rob.
11.
this bass looks nice. I I I.... I don't know, I have a MIM Jazz V, but in Midnight Wine Red, which is the best colour it comes in (imo ) Mhm this is something I may consider, unsure at the mo.
Well the overall spec for the cort is better, However its not a 5 string I could possibly accept midnight wine.
12. Out of interest, would this fit a fender 5 string body? Is it 4/1 or 5 or 3/2 aside headstock? Is it bare wood as apposed to paint on the headstock?
13. Bump. I would trade this for a Mim 5 string jazz bass, Preferably in black.
14. The earliest recordings of me was about a year after i started playing, Its a live recording from bristols Louisiana, Its a pretty good quality recording. I was using a Tokai P bass and a small ashdown Combo. http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/Asomodai/music/ Click on "fashion victim" Yeah the band were heavily into indie rock, Myself, not so much.
15.
interested i trades? your too far away for me, but for other people!
I wouldnt mind some effects pedal, bass synth/Overdrive/wah. But otherwise i would prefer money.
