Tell you what, buy my mockingbird, whack the neck off this on it, and you can then sell the body off this as a decoration for a very large Christmas tree, making some cash, while gaining a lovely white mockingbird? Its a flawless plan!
Well i have to sell the bass to buy yours and then i have lost the neck anyway. Flawless plan my arse ;-) -

Cutting through or making your presence felt
Light strings aren't really an option when downtuned to A. The marshall 2x15 was borrowed from the practice space, am going to make sure I get 10s next time of take my 4x10 with me, and add another cab. I was using my stereo bass with one channel clean into the sansamp and one through both valves in my DHA, and a wah, which is what was doing all the feedback stuff that was cut out of this recording (15 minutes is too long for myspace).
Hmm, Well i use 30-50-70-90-110 For tuning to B with a 5 string. Just enough tension imo. After another listen, Quite frankly You need to be turned up in the overall recording. Then again the music doesant exactly lend itself to bass. The guitars have really taken over the recording here. Really layered sound. That 2x15 sounds like RS studios. -
When I bought this bass Brand Spanky new,I got a quote from Rosetti for the price of it NEW via them, the price was OVER £3,000 U.K. money Shockwave-you should also have the letter I gave you from B.C.Rich confirming that this bass was indeed the bass they used for display at the winter 2004 NAMM show
Yes i certaintly do.... Somewhere ;-)
No idea which section to put this in, might fit in all of the gear and technique ones at once. Got a lot of dense guitar going on, and having some trouble making myself heard, check new recording posted up on myspace on sig. This wasn't aided by the lame borrowed marshall 2x15 cab that just wasn't dealing with the downtuning. Any tips, gear or technique or eq setting wise? You might hear where I start playing near the bridge and use a bit more nail to get some clank at one point, but that not really the sort of sound I'm after.
More growl and a light overdrive maybe. Depends what you we're playing with on the recordings. The best way to cut through in my opinion is new light gauge stainless steel strings. Lots of Zing. Otherwise Just boost your Mids but you probably new that already. Maybe in the recording the guitars could be panned left and right and the bass near dead centre. Or use cabs with 10's inside. I play with a Low B and my 4x10 marshall handles it fantasticly. Wait you have a 2x15 marshall bass cab? I maybe in touch... ;-) EDIT: After Listening to the music I would say get more clang into the bass sound, New strings More low mids. WITH a very light overdrive. -
Played a gig over a week ago at Whitby Goth Weekend Festival at the Spa Pavilion, About 700 people. Gig went pretty well with no mishaps, Lots of positive reaction though my right hand fingers cramped up throughout the gig, Maybe i should learn to use a pick at somepoint just in case it happens again! Roll on Thursday, I am off to Germany to play Wave Goffick treffen, Leipzig, huge goth festival! Will be playing my Mock

Hey guys. This bass is now up for sale/trade. Anyway. Its, Mahagony Neck thru with Walnut stringers, Ebony board, Tobacco burst, Quilt top, Dimarzio pups with Full BCR Electronics with bullet pre-amp (Pre amp built into a real bullet!) Baddass 2 bridge. Grover tuners. Gold hardware and Set up with Optima Gold 95-35 strings. Plays fantastic. I have the original Custom shop certificate, and proof of NAAM participation. This is creme de la creme folks. No insulting offers or lowballs. Shown at Naam 2004 on the BCR stand. I would like £1100. and an extra £30 for shipping. Original price (Non RRP) Was around $3500. RRP is around $5000 at todays BCR custom shop prices. The price may be swung a bit. with the introduction of a couple of effects pedals into the deal. I will consider part ex's and possibly something like a Musicman Stingray/Sterling. Full Trades possible. Hit me up with a message! I would preferably want the bass picked up from Bristol.

I know the feeling dude. I have been in the same place before, I bought train tickets and everything to go trade something with a guy. He pulled out the night before. And another time, I had a guy who was coming to buy a bass off of me, i took the day off work and he phoned me half an hour before he was meant to arrive and said his son wanted something else. Unfortunatly, When i sell something i am allways in the mindset "It's only sold when the money is IN YOUR HAND" or else i take whatever anyone else says with a pinch of salt.
That's a really individual & great looking instrument. How's the preamp sound through those twin split coils?
Sounds great. I prefer the low b of my Warlock NT 5. But the overall sound from all the strings is better then the warlock. Really really growly, Slightly darker sound then the warlock. I have just got my custom gauge strings through from overwater(Thanks chaps). 32, 50, 70, 90, 110. I have just put them on and sounds brilliant and plays brilliantly. The fat and wide neck just feels so nice and solid. I am waiting for the neck to shift with the new strings on before i give it a proper setup. But it feels so good right now it's just a case of putting it back the way it was.
hi. i have a 5 string bc rich (NT i think) warlock bass. just hoping to get a heads up of what it should be worth. it has hardly been played and as new working order. many thanks.
Well i have one myself which i bought from new. I know that some NT 4 strings have sold brand new for 160. I Also just got a Mockingbird NT 5 string for about 240. I think you should be asking 200-250.

Hey guys. Sorry it took so long, Story is, The mockingbird had the same problem that my warlock NT 5 string had. The bridge needed to be recessed because the neck angle is pretty off. Also the 20th to 24th frets needed reseating. So here she is, She plays great i just wish i didnt have to spend the extra money! Lucky i got her for a steal though!
