  1. I see, was looking in the wrong area. It's definitely got the two screws for the tug bar in the right place but as others have said, the one slightly off middle looks newer too. 1960 onward P's all had two screw tugbars, it was the older style P that had the one screw up to 1956ish.
  2. Our guitarist has one as I've seen it at his house, when I said he ought to bring it along he said 'It takes a long time to set up'. As I witnessed the one being set up on Sunday night in about 10 minutes I can only assume our guitarist is not that skilled or confident!
  3. I sold Mickey a personal monitor and it was a very pleasant transaction: he even took me to a proper gig afterwards. Wish all buyers were as generous.....
  4. Invited to a jam in a local studio tonight with a noted pedal steel player. Wow, what a difference it made to our sound ( 3/4 of our band could make it too). He's called Mark from Suffolk and was playing in Dorset yesterday. We need a pedal steel in our lineup too!
  5. Just had an email notification about these, nothing in this price range that does a roasted neck and hand-stained body. As for the hardware, who knows? https://www.bax-shop.co.uk/products/search?p=2&q=fazley outlaw
  6. To the luthier I'd say: 'Don't give up your day job'.....
  7. Good idea, I could sit with a plate of crumble and listen to the rumble......
  8. Would be helpful for the map to have a category for Trolls, I know there will be some in Norway but what about the ones over here in UK ( you know who you are).....
  9. If you know where the water wheel is just past Stourhead, you can walk from there all the way up to Alfred's Tower, have a snack at Alpine Coffee Caravan and return via a slightly different route.
  10. We often go for a drive that takes in Kilmington, Stourhead and Gasper Woods. Nowt but a few miles to Zeals. You live in Zeals, does that make you a Zealot ( bet that's not the first time you've heard that).
  11. Duh, seems so obvious now you mention it, thanks!
  12. Shush, we agreed to keep that quiet.....💘
  13. I've duly managed to get myself included on the alphabetical list but any effort I make to see who is close to me seems impossible as the UK is crowded out with pins. Am I missing something, is there a way to see who is close by to me? Also, how come there are 2 USA's shown but only 1 UK, is it like a parallel universe or a twin neck bass...?
  14. You might be better sending a PM to the admin Woodinblack as above ( click on their name) and deleting your personal details in the post above. We are all nice people but you may not wish to leave your personal details for all to see....!
  15. Re Marcus Miller using Sire, Larry Carlton has a Sire Signature 335 guitar type model. Here's Laura Lee
  16. Looks like you can plug your mic into it too.... 😉
  17. They use the same technique as to get a ship into a bottle.
  18. There's a new Boss dual cube for Bass too but just 10 watts and 2 X 4" speakers means it's never going to be as good as your MB with the Generator. I've also seen people with big batteries (Leisure) on a trolley but they must weigh a lot.
