1. Amp is now sold and paid for, thanks to those who were interested and missed out!
2. Sorry to see your amp's not moving mate, I'd buy it if I had the readies! You'd easily see that asking price on ebay though, stick it up as a 'buy it now' for £325 and it'll disappear!
3. I'm also looking to upgrade the P/J pups in my Yamaha fretless and would like to know if the Tonerider or Artec Giovannis would be a worthy upgrade. There's a nice looking Bartolini set on eBay, but for a lot more cash! Are you still looking Beedster, or did you try em out?
4. If it's for bedroom use only then you won't even need that many watts. I'm selling my rig for the same reasons as you and have a 2nd hand 20w Peavey Microbass on its way to me. These get great reviews, as do the Fender Bassman 25, Orange Crush 35B, Acoustic B20 and the smaller Eden Nemesis combos (there's an Eden N8 for sale in the classifieds that I almost bought before I found my Peavey bargain for £30!).
5. Soundslive.co.uk have 4 LG1000s in stock for £284 + £6 delivery. Some guy on Talkbass (an 11 year Ashdown endorser no less) reckons they sound like a cross between the ABM and Mark King signature series amps. Anyone gonna buy one?
6. I'd like to see the Compact vs the Trace Elliot 1153 and Orange OBC-115!
7. I'd love to see a mini vertically stacked 2x12 Vintage when the Eminence 3012s are released...
8. There goes my GAS again... no sorry, no trades at the moment, I must resist!
9. It weighs 59 lbs, just under 27 kg. It's heavier than it looks! EA have gone lightweight with their new range of amps, but according to reports I've read, the older designs like this one sound better. I don't think I'm interested in many trades at the moment... I'm sorted for basses and pedals and I have a Peavey Microbass practice amp that will tide me over until I decide to join another band at which point I will go amp shopping again. I have however been tempted to try out the Ashdown EVO 500 and Markbass LMII heads for sale on here, so I could be tempted by either of those! I've already had a firm offer from a BC member earlier today who wants to buy it in a couple of weeks time, but it's still for sale if someone wants to come and pick it up sooner than that!
10. NOW SOLD! This is a bass combo amp made by EA (Euphonic Audio), audiophile quality boutique amp manufacturers from the US (http://www.eaamps.com). This amp is now discontinued, but to give you an idea of it's worth, the Bass Gallery have one for sale for £1299 (See here). The head iAmp 350W head is removeable and the speaker cab is identical to the EA CXL-110. The amp has a 4 band parametric EQ with selectable width / Q points and 4 presets (deep, contour 1, contour 2 , bright) it also has an FX loop, adjustable level DI output with a top-of-the-range Jensen transformer, a line input for your mp3 player and a headphone output. The speaker is a 10" woofer with an adjustable level tweeter. Because this amp does not colour the sound, it faithfully and transparently reproduces whatever you put into it, making it ideal for acoustic guitars, upright basses, keyboards, etc. as well as regular electric basses. It works really well with a POD or Sansamp, letting the amp models come through in the way they were designed to be heard so they sound the same as if they were going through a recording desk. You can attach an extension cab to this amp to get the full 350W from the head - but it's seriously loud on it's own and can easily cope with gigs with a full band! There is a flip out carry handle underneath which also doubles as a tiltback stand, ideal for practice or when using a stage monitor so you can aim the speakers at your ears. It's in great condition with only a couple of barely noticeable dings on the surface. I'm selling this as I no longer play in a band and this amp's too good to be sat in my bedroom played at 5% volume! Here's some reviews: http://www.talkbass.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/597 http://www.bgra.net/2004/review.php?id=293&type=head (this review is for the iAmp 350 head which is the same as the one in this combo) http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...p+350+Head/10/1 (this review is for the iAmp 350 head which is the same as the one in this combo) http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...10+Cabinet/10/1 (this review is for the CXL-110 cab which is the same as the one in this combo) Here's the manual (original manual is included with the amp also): http://www.eaamps.com/2005/customercare/manuals/iAMP350Man.pdf I'm afraid I don't have any suitable box for this amp so I wouldn't want to risk posting it. Pick up is preferable from Streatham, SW London, or I could deliver locally. I'd take offers around the £400 mark...
11. Bump... Surely somebody wants to give a cute'n'cuddly Catalinbread pedal a home for Christmas?
12. It is indeed - but there's somebody else interested who lives locally and wants to collect it today - if that doesn't happen then consider yourself next in line!
13. I've now split these items up into separate threads in the hope they may receive more attention... BUMP!
14. Presonus Faderport Bought from this very forum, I've never even gotten around to plugging it in (I never find the time to fire up my DAW and get creative these days!). This is a controller for most audio software like Cubase, Sonar, Logic etc with a motorised fader that whips up and down as you change the selected track (see the Presonus site for more info). Excellent condition, SOLD
15. Catalinbread Serrano Picoso Boost Pedal This is a TINY little clean boost pedal that provides 30db of transparent boost. Ideal for those of you trying to squeeze as much as possible onto a tiny pedalboard (e.g. Dangerboy!). I bought it, tested it and never used it since so it's in as new mint condition. With shipping, this will set you back $134 (£90) from Tonefactor plus any customs charges. NOW SOLD.
16. If I stood much chance of selling my iAmp 350 before this one went, I'd be all over it. But this'll probably be gone quite soon!
17. Also check to see if your active bass has an internal trimpot to reduce the volume to match your passive bass.
18. Someone should buy this, fit some Eminence Kappalite 3015s in it and play around with the port lengths to tune it to perfection... You would have an absolute beast of a cab!
19. Careful, if you lift the speaker too far off the ground, you'll decrease bass response. I'm not able to technically explain it (something to do with floor coupling), but expert cab designer Bill Fitzmaurice says so! Here's the Markbass stand I mentioned earlier.
20. Not interested in the duplex I'm afraid, but I'm selling an immaculate standard JDI for £100 posted if you have the readies...
21. Markbass make a tiltback stand too, so I'd advise checking that out!
