1. I waaaaaaaaaaaaant it! If Santa's good to me this year and it's still around after Xmas...
 2.
Fortunately having just changed energy supplier, I have a reasonable deal (for a month or two at least) and less of a need for firewood! I normally only post stuff I don't intend buying - the Matsumoku J was a rare exception due to a moment of weakness. If that Daion had a J pup as well as the P, it wouldn't be on here! J.
Mine does (Although it's an after mod, done in 83, as is the active circuitry)
 3. Really enjoying playing Snarky Puppy's 'Gone Under' at the moment, even though it's easy as chips.
 4. Wow, just love this bass groove, really fluid and just - yeah. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1uelY2SGmw
 5. I've never had GAS for a Fender before - that is a seriously nice bass!
 6. Is that the same Lydia Cole, author of "Rock Star's Angel"- promoted with the following text? [quote/] I, Lucy Gold, owned the freaking world. But being the daughter of rock god Johnny Gold isn't as easy as it sounds. The music was my life. And it was just easy to fall into bed, or against a wall with no strings–pardon the rock 'n' roll pun–attached. I had no time for love or for feelings. That was until I met him. Hayden Harris. Lead guitarist of Reluctant Angel. Lean muscle, tattooed and sexy as hell. He had hot skills with the guitar and I wanted to find out what other hand skills laid beyond the music. But growing up with a rock star father gave me the strength to resist a rock star's charm. That meant he was gonna have to work for it. And, I was gonna have my fun while he tried. But damn, he has a fire in him and I think I'm losing my number one rule: Never fall in love. Will Hayden be able to tame a wild rock star? Will our love set the stage on fire? Or will it smash like a rock star’s guitar?
Because, if it is, it's surely the pseudonym of our very own Mr DelVar...
 7. Oh wow, wish I lived in London just for this!

 17.
Decent [s]pups[/s] fingers and you're most of the way towards a good sound.
18.
Headlined the Oxjam takeover day in Cardiff. Had a quick rehearsal beforehand to teach the drummer new tunes and remind everyone of structures of a couple that we hadn't played in a while. And ...wow. We had 3 singers and an MC and we tore the roof off! Made up new arrangements on the fly and the crowd were going nuts for it... quote of the night was "every time I see you guys my face hurts from grinning so much!"
And here's a pic - 20 of us in the band at this point! 20. Don't bother with getting brass band players - they can't improvise or work things out by ear. In Cardiff I just checked out the jazz scene and approached players I liked. Through that I got to know the students on the Jazz course at RWMCD and they are EXCELLENT. I could recommend some people if you like as long as you don't thieve from my brass section!
 21.
Hey someone please buy this one... http://www.gumtree.c...3#photo-content If you like the Aria this will appeal too
Except that you can find these for half that price on eBay and around that price brand new.
 22. Here's a link to a doctor's in Portsmouth that will do the medical. Looks like blood tests are the big cost. http://www.privategp...k/carnival.html Edit: A lonk? A link!
