1. "If anyone offers you something worth having in this business, grab it with both f***ing hands." - Bill Steer.
2. I keep mine in a spider medium pedal flightcase, plenty of protection, polytune on pedalboard.
3. Doubt there will be any for a while yet, I had my OB1 as soon as pmt had stock last year and that was in May, so I presume it will be the same time scale for the Four Stroke.
4. Still happy with mine, the new four stroke looks nice too if you don't fancy the blend/gain feature of the OB1's.
5. Vid here, https://youtu.be/AknFSVDbZVo
6. I bought a BH250 last week, mainly for a backup and gave it a try Sunday at volume. It surprised me, it's quite loud through my Dubster for sure and will do what I want it to no problem, seems solid and well made with plenty of tonal variations and of course the toneprint options too.
7. ^^ This, it's very good for not a lot of money and you won't even know you're carrying it.
8. Quincy The Pigboy by Orange Goblin, because you know when you hear it live things are shifting to overdrive.
9. Mine came off eBay too, had to trim it a little round the neck but made a big difference to the look compared to the standard black one, go for it.
10. Here's mine, upgraded to cts pots etc, wilkinson tuners.
11. When that email came through I thought seriously, for the first time, about parting with my Dubster.
12. Solderless Jazz loom on new bell plate arrived and fitted, no fuss, no bother, a Gent to deal with, first class in every respect. Tim
13. Update on mine, used at volume yesterday in band practice, awesome, I like my Terror 500 but this thing blows it away, it seems to have so much more of everything including volume, the speakers in my Dubster were plainly moving much more than when I play with the Terror Bass. I don't suppose for a minute it'll be everyone's amp, but I'd say to anyone playing rock, metal or punk check these if you're in the market for a new head.
14. Yeah, only tried it at low volume in the house so far, got the footswitch now as well so looking forward to trying it at our next band practice, which unfortunately isn't for a couple of weeks. From what I've heard in the house though I don't think it's going to disappoint.
15. Just seen on the PMT Facebook page that they have some incoming.
16. Thanks for the cab info too, I was wondering if it might go down to 2 ohms, as it stands I'll connect the Dubster and FTW! 😊
17. Cheers for putting this up, this is firmly in my sights when it's released.
18. I play like that mostly, if you can call it playing ☺
19. No problem Pig Bass, glad someone's put the offer to use, if I wasn't waiting for the OB1, (which I imagine is the reason for the price drop) I'd be waiting for another myself.
20. Just the amps, it's a good reduction if anyone's in the market for one.
21. Both my bands make a bit of a racket if you want to follow the link in my signature, Doomchild is a harsher heavier vocal style, Beneath the Divine is a more traditional vocal style, still heavy though, nothing too technical, tune low, play slow... and LOUD.
22. A heads up for anyone interested in an OTB 500 or 1000, I had an email yesterday from PMT Music, 500w is on offer at £349 and 1000w is £469.
23.
Thats what I feel my Barefaced Dubster provides. In bucket loads
Another satisfied Dubster user here, for the same use.
