1. That's a shame...i was about to offer you a trade for your mastotron but then I scrolled further to see your already selling the mxr m-8 that I have to trade
2. There is no best cab for any type of bass..its all down to how it sounds to you and weather you like it. Speaker size to me doesn't make a huge difference as each cab is designed to give a fairly even response. It's worth spending a good amount of time trying out different eq's on your amp and trying out other cabinets. Good tone doesn't come overnight
3. Hi is this still available? Don't suppose you fancy a trade? mxr m-80? Good condition, great little pedal with a nice distortion and nice clean tone, only want rid of it so i can have one of these badboys for a more synthy distortion
4.
Come on, mate! Man up! Turn the blend on full and just destroy everything. People don't want to hear sweet buttery bass; they want dirty synths and fuzz and pitchshifting and ridiculous sub tones. You've got some wick effects and it's taken you a long time to compile them. Truckstop
+1!! Destroy everything! But really it's about how you want to sound..i wouldn't sell too many pedals though..you might regret that one day. It all depends what you're playing too, like you said it was a Tomahawk style band where the bass wouldn't use too many fx anyway..I know if I was playing more rock/metal based stuff I probably wouldn't want to be dragging around a load of pedals either
5. Yep i think the guys before me got it..sounds like just a good bass fuzz, blended with a clean tone. Didn't really pick out any octave effect though.

Didn't really get this at first but that's some funny sh*t!
7. This looks neat mate! What kinda wood did you use to make the base? I can't understand why people buy pedal boards when they cost close to nothing to make
8. This is a shame nobody has picked this up.. I'd snap it up straight away if I had the space! have a free bump!
9. Great pedal to have! I've had one now for a good few years and love it.
10. Really any power amp will do what you need, it's just a case of finding one that suits you in terms of power, features, weight and price etc. Low pass filters on the power amp help to reduce the "non-useful" frequencies below whatever you set it at..usually around 20-30hz. Cutting these helps to reduce the strain on your speaker and help it perform more efficiently. I think you will be fine no matter what you buy, just find one that suits you.
11. Another happy lean business customer here. More companies like this please
12. Classy! I bet that sounds beautiful, you have done well
13.
Probably because Alto (who makes the modules) won't agree to it. Buy an Alto instead.
Well done that man! I have never heard of this company but have been looking for a much lighter but at the same time affordable power amp and these look perfect. Anyone have any experience with one?
14. Very nice mate! If you don't mind me asking..how much did she set you back? I've been thinking about trading my stupid heavy rack for one of these badboys! Not seen any other class D amps that do 2ohm.
15. I wouldn't feel comfortable stamping on my amp 3/4 times per song but in theory it has no reason why it wouldn't really work. The question would be why?
16. It's kind of hard to tell you if this is a good rig or not without knowing your styles of music budget or types of gigs etc. If you want a big mega doom rig though think about pre/poweramp combinations. I hear all the barefaced stuff is great too. Those big twins look mean.. defiantly try one! It sounds like you need to go and play every amp you can get your hands on and see what you like
17. I think you should get out there and try literally as many pedals as possible. I use the mxr m80 and i use it for pretty high gain stuff, its a touch hissy but as long as you dont have a tweeter in your amp its not too much of a bother. Also use the obd3 and together they give a pretty fat, humongous sound! Go out there and just try lots, its hard to rely on opinions just from a forum.
18. Madness! That's seriously cheap, what sort of issues have people had with these? This looks like the perfect sort of option for me as I want to downsize as it is and have two 4ohm cabs..
19. Really your best bet would be to buy a head and cab, just so that you have a bit more flexibility. The orange terror bass is a wicked little amp I would have one if it went to 2ohms. As cabs go it's all personal preference, there are so many 4x10's on the market you wont have trouble finding one, just try lots of different ones before you spend and you wont go wrong. Good luck in your hunt!
20. +1 to those saying to buy a fretless. You wouldn't regret it!
21. With the MoMark stuff, is it totally necessary to use the frame that comes with it? Is it posible to just get the modules and plug into a power amp say?
22. WOW! That looks so useful except for the price tag. Ahh well..
23. It looks pretty nice, but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't go trading or selling anything to go get one.
24. Ahh mate, would love to have that preamp off ya but im strapped at the mo! Good luck with the sale. I will be keeping an eye just in case I come into some good luck.
